This looks amazing. Cant wait to play this. I also love the stagger system, its very rewarding to keep up the pressure. I loved that about Sekiro too. It also seems like the scale of the levels is MUCH bigger than in previous titles. I can totally see why they implemented checkpoints and an active healing system. From Software are the best developers, they dont disappoint.
@@Toripusutashi I should have added a VISIBLE stun bar/stagger system. Sekiros combat was all about that. It isnt even nearly as important in their other games where its just a secondary, invisible mechanic that you can completely ignore.
Also, the checkpoints only work in long story missions and if you use them you don't get an S rank, so it still has the "only one build and on a single run" deal for the AC vets. They really thought about everything here

i so hope they put a lot of love into the pvp part of the game, i used to love ps1 link up on 2 consoles and have full screen battles with our custom mechs, was some of the best MP fun ive ever had . Really looking forward to all aspects of this title. looks badass.

I didn't play 4 or 5, but coming from Gen 3 I'm eagerly waiting to play AC6... Us 90's kids are seriously lucky... Got sequels and continued support for Age of empires, Digimon, Half life, and now Armored Core... What a time to be alive!❤ P.S. I wonder how the controls would be on PC... Would a keyboard and mouse setup work (considering that the lock box has a crosshair)? Or would I need to buy a dualsense to play it?

This looks so good, even better than I thought it would be, and I already had high expectations. The AC duels remind me a lot of Sekiro's duel bossfights, you can easily tell this game is directed by Sekiro's lead combat designer.
Fantastic. Though I was hoping to see more of the tank and quad legs. They look a lot like they really change the feel of mechs. The reactions from enemy mechs was a really nice touch. Also is it a problem that I’m actually rooting for the strider here?
Definitely looks good, most of all it looks like it’ll be fun to play. I hope there is a way to grind and buy all the cool parts. I remember the 1st AC had a limit and you could replay levels but you couldn’t continue to get points needed to buy more parts.

A lot of people are referencing armor core as AC but what’s funny is that Ace combat is also referenced as AC and the handler I think is the same voice actor as your awac/air command HQ. it’s also crazy how the dynamic and balance of voice chatter with the combat is almost identical. Very excited to play this game
I have yet to see any heavyweight mech parts besides the tank legs. I hope large slow mechs with high AP that can equip all the powerful heavy weapons due to their high load capacity gets some love too. So far it seems like reverse joint legs are going to be the meta since you see them more than any other leg parts during boss fights. Also I hope they implement co-op eventually. Overall a strong BALANCED Pvp will increase the life span of the game.
i hope this Trailer Puts some of the more worryed Veterian players at ease, as a Person that player ac 1-4FA in the EU, i love the Evolution of the teams work from what they have leared with Past Protect both armored core and souls, movment is Fluie but a lil tank like to give a more grounded Feel to the Cores, Over boost in place of raw speed from the old games is more an tool to Get to Area you cant normally, if you started off on Armored core 4 and Never played 3 or 5 you may be upset at the Speed lose, but it seems ac 6 mech are a bit more on the Ninble but gounded side, Love the sleak UI you pick up VARY fast what Each bar is. to Bad there was no External weapons Showing, and still waiting to see if we still can PURGE weapons When out of Ammo but as it not been in trailers and have not see Hanger weapons in menu so Far ,so it likly Purge is removed maybe, all in all do i am Giddy for AC6 cant wait to get a Feel for the Core movment Persoinally to then start having fun working on my core, Thank you to the Team at From Sofrware for all there Hard work on this reboot of AC (people keep fighting if this is the 2nd or 3rd reboot to AC ROFL) and Thank you Bandai Namco for surporting FromSoftware with most of there Game all the Years, Good Fortune to all of you, and to all Fellow Ravens , Welcome Back to the Nest :)
This is perfectly timed for me after Gundam Evolution was announced to be shut down in October. This should fill the mech hole left by that game’s unfortunate shut down. Interested to see what pvp will be like.

Elden Ring especially, is flawed in almost every respect. It takes large steps back in design philosophy considering level design, enemy behavior, and pvp balancing and mechanics. The art is improved but almost everything else is a step back. The art and animations uphold the game. Given proper time and love, Elden Ring could have been 10x the experience easily.

Daemon x Machina was pretty good I'd say, some of the devs from older AC games worked on it
