I have a good suggestion.. Use a smaller tray or do multiple layers to make it thicker and practice suturing on it. You can even embed a tube (IV line) between layers to practice cannulation or central line placement.

Yes I was thinking that as well as smaller pan this could also be used for practicing for hyaluronic pen certification also for thread placement or threadlift practice

You can add a little honey to the mix and it will extend the shelf life of the material.

I found that if it has been pulled from the microwave and until it has cooled, it can be placed on an individual's skin. Make sure it isn't too hot.

Yes, you can freeze it

its gelatin, in summer it melts unless you freeze it,
so no use the day after
