Nice chat. The Codeine box set you mentioned is one of the finest things I own - beautiful packaging, fabulous music, great liner notes and photos. (Or should it be sleeve notes?) I've got tons of Shit And Shine records and CDs, and "You Were Very High" is one of their best. I think the main sample is from Steely Dan.
@@wrongspeedrecords9964 Agreed - "Powder Horn" is my favourite album of theirs. Was playing "Labybird" on the drive to work today, and got through the rest of the track on the drive home - perfect.
Another mention for Pop Culture store, excellent shop and Fred who owns it is a real gentleman. You should also check out his partner Elsa’s Instagram ‘in felt we trust’ where she reproduces LP sleeves in felt and embroidery….they are jaw dropping.
