How did you get the driver side reflector out?

I used a wrench to break the bolts loose and then squeezed my hand up there and took the rest out by hand

Did the same thing as you but now my car constantly says tail lamp failure and I’ve checked all the bulbs are working even the small corner ones in the rear

I’ve seen a fix for that if you look up “ls400 tail lamp failure fix” you have to cut a resistor or connector or something. It’s on the to do list for me

I’m up here in Canada and In my province only the brake and running lights are required too be red so turn signal and back up lights can stay clear, which size bulbs did u use for the top and bottom of the signal lights?

for the clear lenses did you think black silicone would be better than clear silicone?

Id recommend the black silicone it doesn’t end up showing up too much because the lens covers it and around the outside of the lens the black looks cleaner. Maybe use clear on the inside and use black to go around the outside to seal it if you don’t want to risk seeing any black on the inside.
