I never stop being amazed at how beautifully diverse France is. Towns in the southeast and the south near Italy and the Mediterranean look so different from towns in the northwest (Brittany), which look so different from towns in the northeast near Germany (Alsace), which look so different from towns in the southwestern corner near Spain (French Basque Country), which look so different to towns in the northern tip near Belgium (French Flanders, Artois), which look so different from towns in the Alps, which looks so different to towns in the Loire Valley or even towns along the Tarn and near Toulouse. The general aspect, often the result of things like building materials, roof styles, and colorful facades versus monochromatic facades, is what I think changes a lot in France from a small geographic area to another. And of course it's by looking at the villages and small towns like those shown here, where you'll notice that regional character the most. On the nature side, France is also blessed with many different types of landscapes and climates that you usually only find in larger countries. And I'm only thinking continental France.
I sow this video on Tv5 I 2023. I liked Moulin dAbries presentation. But when I made research on internet, I found that because moulin d Abris owner Robert Martin pass away (sorry about) in 2022, this place is transformed to hotel? This is sad that minicipality didn't saved such unique place. Children may learn a lot how bread was made in the past. Sorry to hear that history is melting.
