Oh wow Fiona! I've only found your channel today. YAY for me🎉 So glad I did. I love your abstracts with the "grungy" background. You make it look so easy. Great job. Looking forward to seeing many more like this❤
Hi Fiona, I’ve been rewatching your textured painting videos. I can get all the pastes you’ve used but wondered which you’d suggest I start with: more or less textured? Looking forward to more of your textured videos. Thanks 😃
Thanks Caroline, I've really enjoyed playing with the texture! Honestly I would just suggest you play around and don't be scared of it. If you put too much on and it's not working you can scrape it off. 😉
@@fionascreativecanvas thanks I’m not looking forward to just making a sticky mess ! It looks like the grittier one was easier to work with, so after a mega watch last night I think I’ll try that! I’ll keep you posted. 🤞😃
just came across y our channel, awesome !! one question...do you have a theme for these paintings, or name, or is it just like doodling where your thoughts can go as you go ad invent what comes to mind? because some look like a variety of things which is they are cool, i can see cities rising from the ocean, or this one looks like traveling thru a desert...just watched "teal dream" and you did just what i was thinking..flip it over and it looks like water coming onto the beach
I'm very new to abstract painting. Sometimes I have a vague idea of where I'm going with it. I find, though, the best paintings are the ones where I just go with the flow and what feels right. 😊
I like mostly that it needs to be looked at lots ( well I need to!) to get more than the most superficial feel for it! Did you get the result you were anticipating? More of these to stretch my aged brain please! 👵🏻
Hi I’ve been watching a video of you mixing your PM. Funny Great fun sorry at your expense. Us sissies are honest people. Warts and all. I read some comments and would like to share some tips for creating art. I’m not an artist but I am self taught. I watch a lot of artists on you tube with various styles and techniques. Boho texture line minimal abstract realism landscapes and more. Ive watched perspective composition colour theory grids and different types of paint mediums and substrates. I have an artist who mixes resin in with her acrylic paint for a pour. BeccaKArt I believe a brilliant style and technique.
Si yo pensé en un sol y ahora la luna ❤❤❤
Precioso,me encanta❤

I am loving all your tutorials it has inspired me to be more adventurous with my art❤ Thankyou please keep doing these 😊
This makes me happy to here. Enjoy the process 😃

Thank you 😊
Love it!!! Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
Wow Wow Wow! Your best piece yet. The vertical lines you added pulled the entire piece together.
Thanks so much 😃 I'm so glad you liked the vertical lines 😊
Stunning! I love this piece.
Thank you, Linda 😊
Absolutely love this great work. Can you do more of these textures with flowers 😊
Thank you 😊, my husband has requested the same thing 😉
I work with this medium, it’s great and quite inexpensive. 💜👍🏼
I'm looking forward to using it again, since I bought so much 😆

I used the Kmart texture and it cracked so badly. So I will be trying that brand.
It was quite light to use and quite effective 😉
Excellent I have to go order flotrol (country town)so will get that too.
Fiona do you varnish a piece like this upon completion?
I let it dry completely for a couple of weeks at least. I haven't varnished this one yet, but when I do, I'll use a spray varnish. 😉

😆 Thank you, Caroline. It was a little darker around the edges than I was going for, but I love the texture. I will keep experimenting 😉

Thanks Michelle, I do love using resin and look forward to combining techniques in the future 😀
I see a broken Galleon.
Oh, I love that 😀
