  • In this video we ply the waters of Eastern Lake Ontario during the fall of the year..... Our quarry, Giant Northern Pike and Enormous Walleye. Today we are fishing a variety of #11 Berkley Flicker Minnows. Capt. Bill Saiff III shows the viewer the top 6 colors in the Flicker Minnow line up. Each fall during October and November, these GIANTS move back into shallow water as the temperatures drop. Fall fishing is DYNAMIC and we often see the largest Warm Water species of the season. Add "Flicker Minnows" to your arsenal this season and watch your catch rate soar! Visit us for more information at www.BillSaiffOutdoors.com

Why size are the lures and how deep do they dive? Do you need the same colors to run in different depth ranges? Typically how deep of water? Thanks for a great video and sharing.

Flicker Minnow #11's will run at a max depth of approx 23 feet. We do use all the colors regardless of the depth we are fishing in. During the fall of the year, we are usually fishing in 15-35 feet of water.

Besides the depth range you mention, what sort of structure are you looking for to find these fish? Thank you

In the fall, we are fishing edges that the fish follow as they move back into shallower waters. Many of these fish are coming along staggered edges of rock .They will follow these edges where baitfish hold. Find the bait schools and the Walleye will be on the bait!
