Alain Johannes is a Legend. I’ve reached out to him a couple of times with questions about stuff and he’s always been very giving. Even filmed a short clip of how to play ‘Follow My Way’ from ‘Euphoria Mourning’. The Guy is just class!
I always wondered why I liked Chris Cornell's first solo record more than anything else he did. I knew Alain played on it, but I now realize he probably wrote the bulk of the music.. I definitely need to check out more of his stuff..
And Songs for the Deaf, and Them Crooked Vultures. Always wondered what happened there, he was a least behind the scenes for three banging albums w/ Josh Homme and was touring with them off and on w/ Queens and then was with them for every Vultures gig, then poof he's gone. If I remember right, there were a couple interviews w Josh @ the future of Vultures and he basically told them to ask Alains.

Mike Patton, the voice that can launch a thousand super groups. He knows he doesn't even need to be in the damn music video. One superfluous vocal track is all it takes to turn the Pattonites onto a cool new band. A band we stubborn idiots probably wouldn't even listen to without the Ipecac blessing.
