      @@Deliquescentinsight Hello. Michael. Just for home. I haven't messed with it enough to now it's limitations/advantages as I have other modelers and pre-amps/amps etc.(Hoarder) to muck with. For the cost of the unit it is amazing from what I have heard from some people.I think from this point on, we are going to see a plethora of amazing modelers and I love that the Chinese are reverse designing everything. Don't get mad because most everything is made there anyway.I grew up Dirt Ass Poor so I'm all about affordability. This particular form of analog modeling is definately on the right track. The next version and the ones after that will be even better.

    A really good product at a decent price just over £100 new in the UK now, the TSAC NUX technology makes this stand out sound wise compared with other similar units even though others sound very good as well, 32bit and able to change the order of effects in the chain is great, the online app also seems to look and work well, I might get one soon just as a back up or if I’m feeling really lazy when going rehearsing with my band and can’t be bothered to lug all my guitar rig.
    Thanks Brett love your reviews as they always get straight to the point, show a good variety of sounds and the general working applications unlike many who waffle on too much and then play a really long riff for too long basically saying look at me I can shredd and I’m great, shredd and bin them is what I say!
    Definitely my go to gear guy on TH-cam if I want a decent quick review of a product. Spot on Brett cheers

    • @zoomosis
      @zoomosis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In Australia the Valeton GP-100 is currently slightly more expensive at AU$249 versus AU$219 for the NUX MG-300.
      I'm curious on Brett's take on the GP-100. Other reviewers on TH-cam seem to prefer the sound of the MG-300 but I'm not sure they're really doing either pedal justice. Though I suspect the sound difference between the two is so subtle that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a mix anyway. So it probably comes down to features, where the GP-100 seems to edge ahead slightly.
      I get the impression both are in demand, so I suppose if you really hated the sound of one of them you could sell it fairly easily, get most of your money back then buy the other one.
