They don’t short cut any of their choreography like some American artists do. American artists will leave room for breathing and have backup dancers help fill visually. They had no backup. It was just the 7 of them killing it as always. And they did your favorite! Winter Without You live and it was sooooo good. But yes. They take no short cuts
I recently saw them in Duluth, GA and YES they do full choreography while singing live and they did not miss a beat or note not once!!!! And I know the mics were ON cus they were interacting with the crowd in between singing too.

I like how they each "dance" into position and not just walk to it. They sort of move like a marching band, weaving in and out of each other. Very neat.

This is the first group in my life that made me a Fan. They take their craft serious. They work to perfection. If someone misses a step then we do it all over again until it is perfect. If they dont like what they are hearing while recording, we do it again. The Dedication is insane.

They just performed in NYC last Friday, on the 18th of October. Their last US show on this tour is in Chicago tomorrow night (Oct 21, 2024). Then they hit Europe, South America, Australia, and then back to Japan for some encore shows. The NYC concert was amazing - and yes, they sing and dance just like that (although they've got an acoustic remix of Left Right and a rock remix of Shooting Star that are fun switch-ups - you can find fancams of both)
XG aren't just all rounders (they all can sing, rap and dance) but they're also the sweetest souls as well. I love them so much. I'm so happy your getting to know them. These girls deserve all the recognition in the world because they really work so so hard!
I went down the rabbit hole of K Pop during Covid, I have hardly listened to Westren music since. Blackpink, 2ne1, Twice, LeSserfim,New Jeans and XG to name a few. The talent, work ethic and musical craftsmanship, it's going to be a mind blowing journey. On a personal level. My sisters were Beatles fans and I even saw ABBA in concert, so I have seen everything along the way. But there has never been anything like XG.
They are on tour right now in the US 😭 Not sure how many stops they have left. I flew down to see them in LA and it was 100% worth it. They are insanely talented and deserve to be huge honestly.
Definitely the best female group in dancing out there right now. Jurin (orange hat) is one of the best dancers in the industry... Cocona (braids) ain't far off. Their linework and positioning is crazy, and their timing is among the top too. Add to that a great choreographer. They're about as good as it gets in the dancing category.

Glad to see another new Alpha I just recently came one of their fans when Woke up debuted and have become obssessed with them ever since. I just binged their documentary Xtra Xtra and the proceess they went to becoming the group. Its insane what they went through starting with 21 candidates pretty much in their early teens but it gave me a better understanding on why they are so good and why they have such a great synergy because they went through this crucible together. I highly recommend watching it there are a few times I wanted to cry and hug them because of the pressure these girls went through and the hard work. There was so much that they had to overcome when they where younger to get where they are now so it makes me even a biggeer fan of theirs. Anyways I hopefully didnt spoil anything and suggest that you check it out.
One thing i LOVE about XG is that they are incredibly talented, it's not like just one or two of them takes all the attention, all of them are so good singers and dancers, the shine together, and they dance even better, the ones you've watched are nothing compare to what they can do. My favorites dance practices, like i feel shows better their dance skills, are Tippy Toes, Máscara, Puppet Show, and Woke Up, even thought It don't have a dance practice, but a Performance dance, so you'll have to watch.

I just saw them on tour in Dallas and they are just as flawless in person it’s actually insane how mind blowing their concert was 😭🤯 I highly highly suggest seeing them next time they come to the US

ok so I know you skipped Tippy Toes (the horror! XG has no skips!) so I think you should give it another chance by reacting to their TT dance practice because it's sooooo good consideirng that they practiced during the covid lockdown and their choreographer Sienna was quarantining in LA and XG were in Korea so they had to do it via a video call. You should also add New Dance (so fun!), Move #1 and #4 (their predebut dance videos)

They rarely sing fully live when they do the full choreos, very few groups do actually, I can only think of Mamamoo and Nmixx that have a proven track record of being 100% live while dancing, but even for them, it's quite rare.

Girl Gang, its not Girl Giving. GRL GVNG- The I was removed to make it 7 letters for 7 members and the A was turned upside down to a V. The ALPHAZ are the fandom and they have an ALPHAZ Fan App has a V shape logo. The V was closest letter to resemble a wolf.

Jurin is the main choreographer. Sienna have them suggestions in the beginning, but the girls do their own thing. This is seen in their Xtra Xtra series.
Jurin is vital but she is not the main choreographer. Sienna is the main Choreographer that choreographs the choruses and Biggy has been the Choreography Director that puts it all together. All of the girls participate in tweaking the choreography for the best performance.

I know you didn’t like the song, that’s ok but Tippy Toes fixed dance practice has 13 million views for a reason, seems like it would be in the top 4, I think it wil impress you, then envision it live
Progress wise, your lineup is backwards. You saw their hardest choreography to their earliest and most fun one. Interesting thing is they're all engaging equally because every one of these practices breeze through the technical and their training allows them to have fun with it. You can see what these girls did for each practice behind the scenes via the Xtra XG series my favorite is definitely Xtra XG #44 SARS behind. It was a real challenge for them, and they loved every minute of it.

Most of Xtra XG clips are of them behind the scenes with all of their activities of their hard work and sometimes play. They do it for themselves as much as they do it for their fans as an archive of their journey being global artists. Their transparency is next level.
Always always always watch XG's MV's all the way to the end because they credit EVERYBODY involved. The Choreographer(s) are listed, you just need to be patient and look through the credits. There are far too many reactors who stop videos early and then they have (dumb) questions. For some of those questions, the answers would have presented themselves if the reactors had been just a little more patient for just a few more seconds. That annoys me quite a lot. PLEASE don't be that way.

Loved the reaction! And to answer about the live performances, YES!! They dance hard while singing/rapping I'd say even better when live. As if that's possible. I had the privilege of seeing them and I'm still trying to find words for how the experience moved me and how much I love them. So, so much! Every angle of their talent is precise and joyful. And their fun and charisma at the show is crazy! Dedication at it's best.
For me the best choreographies are definitely TGIF and New Dance

They rarely sing fully live when they do the full choreos, very few groups do actually, I can only think of Mamamoo and Nmixx that have a proven track record of being 100% live while dancing, but even for them, it's quite rare.

Jurin is the main choreographer. Sienna have them suggestions in the beginning, but the girls do their own thing. This is seen in their Xtra Xtra series.

Jurin is vital but she is not the main choreographer. Sienna is the main Choreographer that choreographs the choruses and Biggy has been the Choreography Director that puts it all together.
All of the girls participate in tweaking the choreography for the best performance.
look at the song credits, Jurin is not the choreographer, it’s Sienna on almost all tracks

Progress wise, your lineup is backwards. You saw their hardest choreography to their earliest and most fun one. Interesting thing is they're all engaging equally because every one of these practices breeze through the technical and their training allows them to have fun with it. You can see what these girls did for each practice behind the scenes via the Xtra XG series my favorite is definitely Xtra XG #44 SARS behind. It was a real challenge for them, and they loved every minute of it.

Most of Xtra XG clips are of them behind the scenes with all of their activities of their hard work and sometimes play. They do it for themselves as much as they do it for their fans as an archive of their journey being global artists. Their transparency is next level.

Always always always watch XG's MV's all the way to the end because they credit EVERYBODY involved. The Choreographer(s) are listed, you just need to be patient and look through the credits.
There are far too many reactors who stop videos early and then they have (dumb) questions. For some of those questions, the answers would have presented themselves if the reactors had been just a little more patient for just a few more seconds. That annoys me quite a lot. PLEASE don't be that way.
