A restaurant franchise with locations on both sides of the state line has been in hot water on social media after news surfaced of a change to its tipping policy.
That's wage theft. It is the restaurant's responsibility to pay for business expenses. That should be deducted from the business's profits or possibly added to the customer's bill.
They are already the lowest paid hourly employees in the country, and now the slime owners are finding new ways to dump business costs on them...Guarantee you there is no profit sharing for the employees...Try running your restaurants with no wait staff and see how much your costs rise...
Typical corporate scumbags, screw the employees while management pays themselves big $$$ and bonus's...They should ban the use of credit cards if the costs are too high for them...I am sure the ATM they are installing will generate considerable fees that will go straight into the owners pockets...
And start taking cash with you because if you use ATM NOT FROM YOUR BANK YOU WILL BE CHARGED DOUBLE ONE FOR NON USE OF BANK ATM AND TWO USING THEIR SERVICE ATM ESTABLISHMENTS.
As a server this is wrong!!! That adds up and servers LIVE off their tips. I have lost ALL respect for twin peaks.
Consumers can let the owners know how much they don't like this policy by not supporting the business.

Quit immediately.
Not good......STOP EATING THERE
All of them should walk out!! Strippers make more and all cash!!

Lazy company. Pay your workers a decent wage of living and stop putting it off on the patron.
That is wrong to do to servers. Period. Fellow consumers DO NOT LEAVE TIPS TO CREDIT CARDS MAKE SURE YOU TIP YOUR SERVERS CASH!
Right lol like ppl carry cash. Get a job that actually pays minimum.
Old news!!
Bar Louie Northfield Denver.
Filed suit. Fire All Employes
Thats bullcrap. The resturant has to pay the fee for the food bill
This place just hasnt been the same since the traveling store setup girls left and the local Erlinaqua took over.
That ridiculous for any resturant to do that. What a cheap shot
This is a garbage policy by a greedy company, but I have always tipped in cash.
I can't believe servers at the Independence location are okay with this. Smh
This is douchey but why should anyone care if they don't work there?
Sp the company makes 338 mil a year and can't cover the fee for employees..I mean up the price of drinks by a penny
Rip off that is exactly what it is. Fee already been paid.
THEY ARE LYING! COMPANIES START ONE STEP THEN TURNS TO CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN.
They should not dress like that inside of a restaurant
Sigh. Stay focused, Janet. 😂
This is the uniform just look up the ad.
How bout.......Dont go there
Bidenomics
Won’t be going there.
This actually makes sense. The restaurant cant eat the cc fees for tips.
Yes they can pay their costs of doing business
I always tip with cash. That way, it's up to the server. If they want to claim it on their taxes or not.
Then the customer will be charged a fee if have to take money out of ATM....DUH......
Credit card machine costs is a cost of doing business. Next will they be taking toilet paper fees?

So..who wants to be a stripper? May be your thing but not most or mine.
This happens at many restaurants, not just one.
It not the whole bill, just the tip.
So that makes stealing part of the tip okay?!?
