I really like this classic look for Havoc because he works in a 1980s outback X-MEN display like Wolverine, Colossus, Dazzler, etc. and even though I don't have him, I will get him because he is awesome with those new effects, Great review Xcorpeo.
Thanks for the video. He's one of the few figures that I actually plan on picking up from this wave aside from Vulcan. This is one of my favorite costumes for Havok and while the figure looks solid overall I wish that we could've gotten an alternate head as well as the silver neck details.

The head piece is trademark Havok! I'd have him no other way. The elbow mod works on all figures with the Sunfire buck, including the Spideys with the new waist hinge
I opened this figure up and it's the gummiest figure I've ever had. Also I don't understand why they didn't use the new Spider-Man body or Vulcan body. In my opinion this body is way too skinny and makes him look like he has weak shoulders and thighs.
Classic done right? If the new Havok figure had the silver ring collar design around his neck like he had for the decades before the '90s, I'd say that it was "classic done right", but since it doesn't have that costume detail at all, I'd say: This is classic done partially right, at least. The head sculpt is very good. This is far, FAR better than Hasbro's "Retro Falcon", which looks unlike ANY classic comic book version of the Falcon that I can recall. I honestly don't get it when Hasbro creates action figures that aren't what they claim them to be. The devil is in the details when it comes to vintage character figures. Without detail and accuracy, such figures are neither "classic" nor "retro", so I don't just don't see the point of why they bother. With this figure though, I can forgive them the metal collar, but it's chintzy of Hasbro to omit it, given the almost blank nature of Havok's outfit already. Either Hasbro needs to do more homework on these retro styles, or they need to loosen their purse strings just a little more.

Why no metallic neck collar? Another figure good at 95% just for buying the next new and improved Havok.
