Background information on Bagi's and Bad's strategies (as stated by them themselves):
Bagi was using a strategy that she used to use in her childhood - placing the missiles in a checker pattern will reliably reveal all ships in due time.
Since Battleships is usually turn-based instead of being reliant on resources and the "health" and "discovery" of ships is different, such a strategy is good and smart in this context, but can easily suffer when you play the Purgatory version of it and are lacking missiles.
As for Bad, he stayed up late yesterday night to practice Battleships against his mods...
And Pomme.
As it turns out, Pomme is pretty cracked at the game and "mentored" Bad during his training...
He said he used some of her strategies while playing!
Bad also knew how place missiles faster and had the Minecraft knowledge to carry the missles and deploy them faster.
Both of the streamers had their chat in "Emote mode" and did NOT meta-game.

Bad also wasted a ton of missiles because he didn't understand the boat health, and used an extra missile almost every time to sink them. But luckily his superior search strategy and Red team's grinding made it so wasting ~10 missiles every round didn't matter

That's also why Blue was so much slower than Red, they had 2 sometimes 3 people up in the tower looking at the board saying "hey we need more missiles" instead of helping do missile tasks

To whoever is curious, Maelena suggested Bad was using macros to place the ships that fast, looks like neither them or Bagi are familiarized with the settings, Bad explained Bagi at the main server not only his strategy but also he show her the keys...and Bagi admitted she didn't knew about it, and to that we are gonna add that red team farmed their butts and had enough missiles to that, also Bad trained all night with two experienced players.

I don't understand why some people blame Bad. His strategy was better, he acted faster. Also, other team members tried very hard to help!
Bagi did a great job, but she had the same strategy throughout the game.
Remember, if any of the players had cheated, the administration would have dealt with it. Don't blame the players :(

Bbh is insane, i guess if someone absolutely Destroys you that way it could raise suspicions for cheating, but I really trust bbh didn’t cheat, he’s just that good
Also bbh learned bagi’s strategy pretty early
She kept placing it in checker board style but also maybe if they were doing missions and getting missiles they could have won few rounds

I just watched Bad's stream of this day today. He was INSANE! Feel bad for Bagi tho. :(
And the crazy part is, Bad had only gotten 2 hours of sleep that night and stayed up until 7 AM practicing Battleship. Dude never sleeps.

Also bbh setting the missiles on the ground so he doesn't have to go back to the chest and the insane farming of his team carried this hard.

BBH was amazing having spent hours practising, but 9:09 was the moment when Bagi received the advice from Tubbo that cost them the game! The round before saw only 1 boat difference between the teams, then Tubbo tells Bagi to switch to the losing strategy here!

If you watch the vod it was Bagi's idea, Tubbo just said what colors to start with so others helping her place missiles would also know
Also the first round Bad had 2 less boats because of a glitch, which is honestly why it was so close. But Blue didn't have the missiles to find and destroy 1 boat never mind 3 more boats, they weren't grinding the tasks as well as Red team was

Yeah bads team simply had a better strategy aswell as better grinding capabilities (but bad also saved a lot of missiles with his strategy then compared to bagi)

Eu sinceramente não gostei que fizeram acusações dando a entender que BBH tinha trapaceado. A estratégia do BBH junto a estratégia do SEA e a ajuda dos CroCoons em velocidade foram sensacionais para vencer esse evento. Todos os times jogaram muito bem

Acusaram o chat do Bad, mas o Bad não viu o chat. Vi os dois povs e teve duas grandes diferenças: o que vc disse e a experiência do Bad com o Mine. Por exemplo, a Bagi não sabia do truque do shift. Enfim, 5x0 foi inquestionável.

Primeiro com a ideia de dropar os mísseis perto pra quando ele tivesse com a mão livre, podendo colocar múltiplos mísseis, e tbm a parada de colocar de um em um os mísseis afim de revelar a posição dos navios/sub e segurar até o momento de soltar uma onda de mísseis de uma vez. Foi simplesmente uma jogada brilhante combinada com a eficiência do pessoal que foi sinistra tbm
