Jacob did a Gunther: Once he got to the main roster, he noticeably slimmed down. Not a bad thing, because he’s still imposing.
Slim Samoans seem even more scarier because how athletic they are without the excess fat
That’s exactly what I said when he came onto the screen. He got cut, lost his size but his arms looked jacked compared to when I last saw him.

Jacob is to Solo, what Solo was to Roman. The Tonga's looking at each other was nicely done. Solo let a rebel in the Bloodline that wont fall in line.
Only difference is, Roman had Solo in check but Solo Won't have Jacob in check.
The difference is fatu is already better than solo ever was

Everything was so good. Right away, you see his face, his eyes, his facial expressions, the way he doesn't waste steps with anything he does. Such a good choice to put him with these guys.
Only issue was that I think Jacob sorta get caught up in the moment even though he stayed in character that the ref told him to get Cody. Time constraints while on FOX. I figure they already told him that backstage after the show and that should be preventable.

In all honesty Jacob really got the TRUE DESTROYER feel to him.
Just hope WWE manages Solo with him right so that Solo actually feels like a real threat with a dangerous faction behind him.
I think Solo would really fit well with a bit of cowardly heel vibe. Someone who is always trying to stack the deck and take advantage of odds. But who is quick to pull back when things go wrong. Maybe sacrifice a team member to protect themselves. That is the sort of stuff that makes people angry.

Jacob Fatu in-ring work, presence and size easily overshadows Solo, in one segment he became the big deal.
Jacob is the first Samoan since Umaga who looks and feels dangerous when you see him.

Two things about Jacob Fatu - the way he ran for.the spear and the look, the sick smile/laugh when he was about to climb to the top rope for the big splash. He had shown more personality in those two moments than anybody else in recent years. Absolutely insane, more valuable than those destructive moves in my eyes.

i dunno why wwe were worried about him being overshadowed. if the guy youre about to debut is such a star youre worried how over he is gonna get.... thats not really a problem
This is why I think Jacob will eventually usurp Solo and Solo will eventually side with Roman and his older brothers in The Usos while Jacob sort of becomes the New Bloodline's leader while being in charge of Haku's sons.
I think it adds more layers. Solo will eventually get jealous of Jacob and turn on him. Causing him to side with Roman or making him take over the Bloodline. Jey was the star of the first part of the Bloodline story. Jacob will be the star of Bloodline 2.0. To be able to run though 3 of the top babyfaces night one means that WWE has big plans for him. As they should

Jim actually being entertained by wrestling is a breath of fresh air amongst all the negativity he has for the wrestling buisness nowadays.
I think he's just biased on Jacob, because if anybody else does the same things than Jacob, he says "flippy floppy" or "get in the ring". But now it seems that if Jacob wants to like throw someone into thumbtacks (being completely unnecessary), he's gonna love it anyways imo.

Jacob made the Tongans look like a joke. He executed beautifully while the Tongans looked like rookies trying to double team Cody.
Tama Tonga has been amazing. He's just not a dominant force. Jacob is and was presented as such.

It was a lack of preparation that looked bad. They are great wrestlers, but they messed up. Only internet folks like me ever noticed.
@@MyMediaConsulting I think that stuff is on purpose. Jacob is a lion, but G.O.D are like wild jackals. Jacob is swift, wastes no movement, and everything he does looks like a killing blow. Tama and Tanga are frenzied and erratic and they aren't coordinated with one another at least. They aren't trying to look like wrestlers at all in their body language, so the rookie thing is rather irrelevant.

The best thing about this is Solo was Romans enforcer because he was the meanest, most vicious one of the Bloodline. Now imagine *that* guys enforcer. Imagine a guy meaner and more vicious than Romans enforcer, and you get Jacob Fatu.

My money is on Roman reluctantly aligning first with Cody, Orton, Owens and Jey to do battle with the new bloodline at Survivor Series, before eventually reuniting the Usos to take control back from the Rock, who is secretly controlling Solo, at the next WrestleMania.

I've been watching waayyy too many of these because now I can see ad spots before they even happen 😂 the moment they mention paul waiting by the phone with 5 minutes left on the video, i said, "oh, well i can see this finish coming from a mile away.." 🤣🤣
This was great, we waited for him to appear and it fill happened. What a way to top off an insane week for the WWE. Jacob Fatu looks like a monster and honestly, he's going to outshine Solo very quickly. Hell, I feel if booked right Jacob Fatu could even outshine the likes of Roman. This is a long time coming for Jacob and it was worth the wait, now the world will see what one of the most dangerous men in the Anoa'i can do in the biggest wrestling company in the world.
Jim's reaction to the end of last night's Smackdown is going to be nuclear. Can't wait to hear his reaction to what they did to Heyman.

A possible for member Team Roman is Zilla Fatu (Umaga’s Son). He is young and has only been wrestling for a year, may need to be a project to work on but he looks like a beast and can match up to Jacob Fatu physically.
I'm foreseeing a power struggle between Solo and Jacob.

Was waiting for this one.
Who is Jacob working with though? Cause someone pulled the strings to get him into the WWE to begin with. Was it Roman sending him into protect Paul? Was it the Rock in order to put a check on them? Even better play up the fact he can't go overseas. Then when they finally work it out let that person flex that he can casually bend laws if it suits them. I loved the debut. So much better than the Wyatt sicks thing. I saw a damn star born on WWE. I think they may want to lean into making Solo a bit more of cowardly heel. But make it so he is usually not because he stacks the deck in his favor.

The only gripe with Jacob Fatu is that he does not seem fully TV ready yet. For example, he dropped his finger halfway, looked around and saw the other fingers were still in the air and raised it again with no improvisation whatsoever.
But the rest of it was straight fore. They made him look like a million bucks.
Or, as I saw it, he did that because he’s not fully in line with Solo’s plans for The bloodline
He’ll get better.. trust me

Never seen a full match of his. Between the clips of previous matches, clips of his debut, and compilations of his feud with Hammerstone, I’m sold on dude. He’s like Umaga but with more affinity for the top rope. I’m sold
