When you're retired and your children are grown, sorry, no, the only decision isn't whether to be closer to my job or a good school. That's a significant oversight.
Wow, what an amazing video! Thank you for sharing these resources with us! We are contemplating moving from Texas so I’m binging your videos. Do you also have a video of winter preparedness? I am just trying to wrap my head around being in that much snow! Thank you again for your content!
My latest video I talk about the winters and what they are kind of like. If you have any other questions about a transition to Omaha or are looking to potentially buy a home I'd be happy to help!
Tyler, your videos have been so informative for non-native Nebraskans such as myself! I am curious, I have noticed a lot of gravel roads throughout Omaha (I read that this is due to faulty road pouring a few years ago). Would you say that these gravel roads greatly affect property value?
There are gravel roads only because they have not been paved yet by the city. 99% of the roads you will drive on will be paved unless you go into the country or the very edges of the city.
Thanks for sharing. I live in Tuscany, Italy and always love learning about different places people live in around the world

Do we have many Africans leaving in Omaha?
We do. My wife is African and there is a whole community here
No.
Omaha is too expensive now!
If you think Omaha is expensive and want to live in a city then......good luck
Just don't buy a house or a new car. Property taxes will break you.
North omaha isn't a wise choice to move to in general speaking do your research folks
My trouble is moving (and growing up) from a “huge” city, how to fit in a small twin! One horse town… and after two years I haven’t even seen it!!!! 😔
