Ive learned a lot from the 3 of you over the years. Been working this land for 8 years and learning as i go. Fruit production is starting to get decent. Could have been better if i knew what i was doing in the first few years but I guess most of us go through that at first 😂
I want to meet you guys and Sean! My wife and I bought three acres in Fern Acres off Makoa like 2 months ago and are moving in one year this next September. I want to start the property off right would love to meet when we start clearing in a few months. Im going to leave the same comment on your actual channel
I seem to have seen you guys on YT before, quite a few years ago. At that time, I was in southern California. I moved to the Big Island 2-1/2 years ago. I have settled down somewhere in Puna District. I can see that you two have accomplished a lot. Good job! I just bought an 1 acre lot, plan to grow fruit trees. I have one question for you, about buying soil from Hamakua.
Aloha Jerry. Yeah, Mike and Paulina have the ur channel @offgridhawaii. But what question do you have about soil, if it’s hamakua you gotta add some good stuff like compost and nitrogen rich fertilizer
@@HomesteadinHawaii I assume you two are, like me, somewhere in Puna District. My questions are: 1. Who is your soil supplier in Hamakua? 2. Do you need to hire the truck yourself? My original plan is to hire some bulldozer to clear the land, then hire trucks to bring gravels, sands and mulches (from Hilo landfill), mix them together, then add fertilizer periodically. My 1.1 acres lot will be devoted to agriculture only because I already have a house to live in.
We’re so happy we finally got to meet you Sean! Thanks for stopping by and sharing about our homestead 😄🌳🤙🤙
It was my pleasure. One of the most inspiring homesteads I have been to yet. Great job you guys!!! You guys are 👏
TH-cam crossover, love all the content
Mahalo. It was so nice to meet Mike and Paulina. They’re fantastic people.
So exciting to see two of my favorite TH-camrs collaborate!
Us too! It was fun connecting with them. I think we might have a few more collabs in the works.
You are an inspiration to others. I enjoy watching and learning from you and your experiences. Thank you God bless you Maranatha

Best lessons are the ones learned. We’ve all been there. Glad to know there’s another productive food garden growing in Hawaii.
These guys are great. I wish they still were doing videos.
They are! Just not releasing very often.
They took a break for a few years but have recently come back.
