im a big fan of lethality riven, it gives you so much snowballing potential but i do agree that its very confilipping as well and you have to play out your teamfight perfectly with no room for mistake

Losing duskblade really fk up the lethality build, that free escape when you kill someone is really helpful

Bronze riven here, your fundamental course helped me a ton. I stopped trying going for kills and focusing on expanding my lead through item/level spikes and farm. I already on winning streak even when I don't do so well in lane, I still ahead of opponent in mid/late game.

Alois I like when you make mechanical mistakes in lane but still win through wave control and other things, it just proves that you don't need to be some mechanics god to play consistently

Sadly I only watched your YT vids recently where you build Shojin as first or second item almost every time xD Now I was kind of confused that it's only optional and not core. Nice guide though.
Would have been interesting to know if it makes any difference to your build path when playing from behind. Riven is still the double-edged sword as long as your not called AloisNL and have all fundamentals locked and loaded xD.

The ACTUAL reason why sundered sky is op on riven is Riven's passive and ultimate acts like bonus ad. That is the reason why you crit for 1k+ damage.

I have a question for laning how do i extend my lead and roam when i cant kill or short trade someone but they let crash but they can shove by the time im mid

@@ausamebros129 if they start walking to you when you're proxying, and you're playing riven, you can just run away. You have 4 dashes in your kit. They lose minions walking up to you and they dont kill you.
Edit: Also since you said "extend" your lead im assuming you already had a lead, if you're playing from behind proxying is kinda int because they'll just kill you before you can even run away but it depends on what champ you're facing obv

Because you have a Long Sword instead of Doran's Blade which means you can more quickly build into your first item.

Does death's dance passive give u remaining 30% of damage as true damage? I swear it used to be that way

I think it does but you can shield true damage …a lot of people think you can’t for some reason

Technically the damage you receive has the form of true damage, however it is reduced by resistances once. How it happens is that You take damage -> 100% of the damage is reduced by resistance (except if it’s true damage) -> 70% of the reduced damage is taken -> you take the remaining 30% over 3 seconds.
