Paka's Dissipation was my favorite Dissipation I've ever seen, it resembles the record-breaking season and pretty much puts an emotional end to it by disappearing..

Me too, but sometimes the Category 5 icons look like they say "3." I can tell by lightning bolts. Ironically, category 5s usually don't have lots of lightning.
This season had 11 Super Typhoons. At least 10 were Category 5 (I say at least since F13 puts Bing as a Cat 5, but other sources say Cat 4). Ten. Category. Fives.

@@bjunborja9827 the atlantic hasn’t even gotten close to that. The highest amount of cat 5s there is 4, so one would need a REALLY strong la nina event for the atlantic to even come close to that. Probably won’t happen for a long time.

Not one, but TWO infamous Linda storm in the Pacific Ocean that year. One of them, Linda in WPAC is one of the deadliest typhoon of Vietnam's history. And the EPAC one, reached the rare 185 category 5 hurricane and became one of the strongest hurricane in the Eastern Pacific basin.
If I remember right, Winnie's eye remains the largest ever seen in a cyclone in the world to this day, at over 200 miles across. Definitely an eye opener for sure.

Cass’ formation is quite very sad Cass developed as a LPA and became a Tropical depression but the system failed to strengthen for a while because of the nearby typhoon Amber but when Amber crashed China it was a little bit farther for Cass to develop but the sad thing is the ending is Cass got absorbed by Amber in inland China

@@kvinsnjaya9493 its usually not about the strength of the winds that kill people on storms. You're most likely going to get killed by flooding or storm surge than winds. That's why storms that brings colossal amount of rain kills alot (Tropical Storm Ketsanna, Hurricane Camille as a tropical storm inland, Tropical Storm Washi, Hurricane Mitch as a Tropical storm) A recent example would be Goni (2020) a Category 5 with the same landfall strength as Haiyan (2013) at 195mph yet killed less than typhoon Vamco (2020) a category 2 at landfall due to its lesser precipitation than Vamco.

Quite the opposite, this season was quite overestimated, and only had an ACE of around 521-538.
It also only had 6-7 category 5s, not 11.
