I have this exact bag and I love it. I haven’t had any issues with my bag. When I first saw the earlier reviews on the wear and tear I decided I was not going to buy one. When I went into the Chanel store to buy my 19 my SA told me to try it out and I really liked the look. I couldn’t get it out of my head so I decided to buy it and I’m so glad I did. I would buy another one in a different color and probably the mini. I really like the white mini but I’m a little concerned about color transfer. Great video.
Black Birkin bag, this is the first good choice I made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. After coming into contact with *condup* , I am more willing to invest the money saved in my own growth.
Ooo I didn’t know you had this bag! Must be because it was in storage and I haven’t had chance to catch up on all your older videos since I’ve known you! This type of video is so useful! This bag has so many aspects of things I like in a bag, but I look at it and do not feel any excitement at all for it! 😮 Perhaps I need to see it properly in person and actually hold it, rather than just see it on a video or on a shelf from a distance at the boutique 🤔
Me, too. When I started seeing the videos pop up I started to panic. But mine is great and sounds like everyone else here who has one isn’t experiencing issues either. It’s funny because I brought it up to Andrew once and he was completely baffled about any issues. He’d never seen one come back to boutique. And I don’t think it was him trying to just BS me. He’s a very straight shooter with me.

My SA also had a “so black” but I felt given the bag is casual it can afford to be elevated by the gold. But I am a bit worried it’s flashy and I’ll get mugged as it says CHANEL in big letters! And maybe I should’ve got the all black as more subtle. But I guess I can always turn it around right if I don’t feel safe? And still have the lovely gold chain.

However, I really like your denim Chanel 22 bag and the ones in tweed. If I had the money, I would get the tweed with the camellias pattern. Great review of the bag. Would you consider doing a Comparison between the denim and this one and if you prefer one over the other? I hope you’re feeling much better.

I fell in love with a tweed version of the 22 on that same size, but I really enjoy using my bags and couldn't trust myself with that material... I'm a "big bag energy" 😂 kind of gal and love the style of this one, but I'm still not sure if it would work for me. Really love it, though!
It’s a great bag, Kat. But as much as I love tweed, I’m not sure I would get this bag in it. Given that you pretty much always carry it up against your body, I’d be afraid of excessive pilling on the tweed. But like you, I’m a big bag girl at heart!❤️
The main problem for me is that the quality is so bad nowadays. The quality is much better and the prices are much lower in *condup* small boutiques. There is just no marketing. When I was a little girl the luxury goods were much better than the cheaper brands.
I tried the shearling back in November and loved it but didn't buy it. Last week I tried the mini so black, it looks great but it's a bit too small on my frame. I tried the medium one again in black but I got the large Romy before Christmas and I can't pull the trigger now. So alas, even if I like it, I think it is not meant to be!

i tend to overfill my chanel 22 and my shoulders tend to hurt when i carry the bag more than an hour. its a cute bag and very functional though

Do you have an issue with the snap buttons coming undone easily?
Not really. Sometimes when I’m trying to get in it while it’s still on my shoulder, one might pop, but I wouldn’t say it’s an issue
Do you have side protector inserts to protect where the chain rubs on the sides ?
No. I’ve seen they exist but I haven’t had any issues.
