Great reaction ... and don't worry, there are people a whole lot older than you who have done themselves an injury dancing round their living rooms shouting "Maada da ya" (but I am admitting nothing🤫). Yes, this is the best song about playing a game like hide & seek blind man's bluff or tag that I know of ... but they are playing it with an Oni (a sort of Japanese ogre👹). The growls on the backing track were the Oni asking things like "Are you ready?" and the best response has to be "Maada da ya" (No, not yet) while doing a running away from an Oni dance.🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀👹
Nice reaction, thanks! "Catch me if you can" was my very first BABYMETAL song (this very same version) and it got me hooked from the first moment. I believe this is the most extreme juxtaposition between cute vocals and choreo and brutal instrumentals. Because this is really, really heavy. They don't play it anymore since 2017. Apparently, Moa got too big to do the infamous "Moa slide" one of their best moves ever (4:30 mark on your video). 🤭 Today, "Bekhauf", a collab with Blodywood has been released and it's "cannibalizing" the rest of the "normal" reactions. 🤘🦊
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏃♀👹 So this cute song is about playing a game that is kind of like hide-and-go-seek, with some tag and blind-man's bluff mixed in. Pursued by an "Oni"" which is a kind of Japanese Ogre. If not a real monster, than at least someone pretending to be one in order to terrify children into behaving. Fun times! Kawaii Metal! : ) If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example. While 'Megitsune' is still my favorite, this has one of the cutest choreographies. Although Yui and Moa said they had to concentrate really hard to dance on the spinning stage. They performed this song quite a bit in 2017, but not since. The last time I saw this one was in Chula Vista, California when they were on tour opening for Korn.
Haha "I'm a grown-up, at 23, dancing around to this..." Speak for yourself Sofi, I'm in my 40s, and zero shame dancing around like an idiot to Babymetal 🤣. The most brutally adorable song about hide-and-seek ever. Love it! Also, their new song just dropped today! A collab with Indian metal band Bloodywood - Bekhauf. Hope you check it out! 🤘🦊
Sofimetal!!!!!!!!!!!! Great reaction and a most excellent kitsune dance! Try being 59 and trying to dance to this, lol. My kids are usually mortified and yell at me to stop. Anyway, I love the Kami intro and the song too. It has a fun vibe! Kitsune Up!
Great reaction! In case you didn't already know, Babymetal are playing a stadium tour across Europe in May, finishing at the London O2 arena. There is a lot of expertation that they'll do a big production and film the show. Hope that you can make it.🦊🤘
Especially from this particular performance, you can tell the different personalities Yui and Moa has right from the chanting style of each at the beginning. Yui was restrained, shy, and girly, while Moa was liberated, open, and warm. Yes, this is a childish song, but in their story, Babymetal is playing hide and seek with something evil.😌 Playful is just the attitude in my opinion.😊
Oh no Sofi! What a bad time to release this today when everyone is reacting and watching the new BM collab along with Bloodywood called "Bekhauf", anyway love this song. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥
Nice reaction to an old favourite Sofi. Not performed for over seven years now, probably because Moa got too big to do the slide between Su's legs 😂. Not sure the new collab with Bollywood would be your thing despite reactors going viral with it. Babymetal's bits are good but the rest is too much incomprehensible growling. Not really my thing. A bit worked in Ratata as it was humourous. This one's over the top and not really my taste 😧
Nice reaction! One of my favorite songs! The choreography is too cute.🦊💖💕

Love that they can appeal to kids and grown-ass grunge boys like myself. Monochrome still brings out all the feels.
Keep rockin’ BABYMETAL!!!
KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘

The "Blegh!" at the end was Mary Berry apparently, they had her as a special guest since it is a song about Bake Off (unless it was Paul Bloodywood).
@@Grington300of course it's Bloodywood.. Not Bollywood. Stupid spell check 😂. I did see it's pronounced as 'Bake Off'. 👍
@@geoffreyhenson3098 Haha, I didn't even notice you'd said Bollywood.🤣
