What are key dates and what makes a date a key and so rare to find?
Thinks I have learned a lot over the last 15 years while collecting coins. Please take some of my advice and learn from what I did. I had to learn the hard way.

Good topic ! I would try to look for problem free key dates. Unc/cleaned coins are less desirable and hard to sell when it’s time

Great looking Morgan albums. I am just beginning to fill them. I agree on the key dates of value. Best to get them slabbed as they are just that expensive.

I hate worn down coins. I don't like buying worn key dates either. I would rather pass and buy a very nice common date coin instead. Key dates cost too much for my liking too. I'm not in the hobby to try to get rich either. To each is own but some people have way more money to spend than I do too!
