This was a great video! I just got my set up and purchased QCT6, I see in this video that you went from using QCT6 to doing some free motion quilting, Is there anything that you have to change or do to the machine or software to be able to go from QCT to freemotion. I thought I had read that you had to loosen the belts for QCT? I don't have mone set up yet. Thanks for all of your hard work in making these videos!
Hi Leah, sometimes ago I purchased your green templates....Dresden, a circle, and other things in the pack. You used them for ruler work. Will these be thick enough to use on the longarm?
No! That Dresden Plate Template Set was only produced with a thinner thickness and is dangerous to use on a longarm. I am planning to create these again, but thicker so they can be used on both styles of machines.
In one short video you were able to clear up so many of my questions about my QCT5. Thank you Leah!
Glad it was helpful!

You're welcome 😊

No worries!

What is the pink tape measure with markers called, please? I need to order one. Thank you!
That is longarm centering tape. I tried it a bit and while it was kinda helpful, I've found using laser lights to be a lot more accurate.
@@LeahDay could you be more specific about the laser lights you use and how? Or is there a TH-cam where you show what you use?
