- Here is my PBS Television Special "Jesse Cook Live in Concert" in HD, and in its entirety.
We recorded this Concert in March 2012, at the Rose Theatre in Brampton, Canada. It premiered on PBS in the United States later that same year. Though it was my 3rd TV Special, it was actually the first of my concerts to be broadcast throughout the US, and introduced my music to whole new audience.
This special was filmed by directed Jared Raab, and his gang at Vulture Culture Films, a talented group of very young film makers, barely out of film school. It really felt like their crew was half my age. But they were able to capture our live show in way that finally translated for television audiences, while satisfying my desire to have the experience feel cinematic. I cannot express enough how deeply thankful I am to all of them, and in awe of what they were able to achieve.
And of course I am forever thankful to the musicians and crew and everyone that worked so hard to make this special what it is. It was almost 10 years ago now. Seems like forever ago.

When my brother sent me a link to this concert a few months ago and insisted I check it out, I had no idea what a miracle I would find here. This was an unexpected discovery for me! I was even more excited when I got the chance to see him live a few weeks later when (luckily for me!) Jesse Cook was performing in Europe. Without hesitation, I went to Wroclaw, which is one and a half thousand km away, through Lithuania and Poland - to listen to the best guitarist in the world. But I was even more surprised and impressed when I listened to his music videos. Then I thought - after all, this is modern Bach... Now I listen to his songs every day, trying to feel the mystical spirit of folk music of all nations. I bow to the genius of Jesse Cook, thanking him and fate for the best music of all time. These are transcendent creations that I admire and adore! Thanks, Jesse Cook!
I couldnt agree w you more. Because of this comment, I checked his tour schedule. By a great coincidence or my guardian angel's directions, I found out that he is performing tomorrow in the next county over, about a 45 minute drive. I saw Jesse at Convocation Hall in Toronto Canada in December. It was two days after my birthday. Jesse and his band stayed at the back signing autographs and having his photos taken. They didnt leave till everyone was taken care of. He is a legend. Best birthday present. Now I wish I could see him again in concert. note. not this past December,,way back,,
I was at this concert too! Amazing performance from Jesse and the entire band. If I recall correctly, it was a snowy night when we left that magic night... after all those signings he did. Massey Hall was another amazing venue he played... again, if memory serves me correctly he did an unplugged for his finale as a tribute to his late father who took him there as a kid to see one lf his heroes back in the day. ❤

There is no end to Jesse’s creativity, always something “out of the Blue”. He goes and goes. it’s as if his mind never stops. An amazing human in his own right. I am excited to see what’s around the next corner. Phenominal,no doubt!

Discovered you over 20 years ago, bought your CDs the, lost in the move from DC, only to rediscover them in a CD pack some 10 years later, only working two jobs, never time to play. This appeared Christmas Day evening courtesy of popping up on a selection of Spanish Flamenco music on TH-cam. The fates have blessed me! I rediscovered Jesse Cook again, found Additional music he recorded over the years. Wonderful Christmas gift from Fates and God. It speaks, resonates within my soul! Time to relocate those CDs before I buy more.
And.. Have a Merry Christmas here and now in 2023!
It appears as there is no end to Jesse’s beautiful creativity, always something in the works of his beautiful mind as if it never stops to rest. Jesse is an incredibly amazing talented artist. He is genius.

Gawd...I want heart emoji this so bad. I'm 36 and remember (with shame) downloading Jesse Cook songs on my computer in high school. His music has been sooo much of a benefit to me and is so uplifting and has always been able to get me out of bad spots. It almost brings tears to think about some of those times. It's just so good and I wish Mr. Cook knew how much he brings to some of us. I'm now in a decent enough spot to look for legit ways to support him seeing as how he's done so much for me without ever knowing it. Love the music and the man. Jesse Cook is one of the most authentic musicians in the whole world. Maybe Bach & Beethoven are 'there' too, but this guy really as some kind of special effect on me when I listen to these concerts, or even more so, his more recent (during the Plandemeic Times) solos, ...like 'Virtue'! Someday, I will be able to attend in person :>)). Thank you Jesse.

I had the privilege to see you at the concert in Banff, Alberta, and then, at the Juvenile Auditorium at the University of Alberta. Both of those concerts were so mind blowing beautiful. We saw Jesse in concert on Wednesday night in Brantford Ontario. Third time seeing him live and this time front row seats. Wow! What a great show. He had an accompanying guitarist who was fabulous too. The great back story on him was he heard Jesse on a CD in his mother's car in 1995 (at age 7) and decided to learn to play like Jesse. And he sure did! He studied at a university in Spain. He sent a video to Jesse of himself performing Jesse's music.
Jesse invited him to join his band. Matt Selleck is his name. Amazing all round evening

You are so lucky to have discovered his music so long ago. I was oblivious to anything like this and stumbled across one of his songs based on a YT comment that sent me scurrying to find his music about 3 years ago. Tempest was the first thing I found. I was spellbound. Like "pick your jaw up off the floor" spellbound. 5 concerts in a little over 2 years then Covid hit, so can't wait to see the next live performance.
I found it only takes one song to get hooked on Jesse. Very unique & dynamic, international sound.
