एक न्यूज पेपर के लेख के अनुसार जो की भारत मे मिलने वाले चीजों के ब्रिटिश नामो पर आधारित था उसमे ये बताया गया था के एक ब्रिटिश अधिकारी ने चंदन जो की पवित्र माना जाता है उसे जानबूझकर sandal जो की जूते को भी संबोधित करते है वो नाम दिया
(ये मैने बचपन मे पढा था तो इसमे गोदी मीडिया का हाथ नही था) 😄
