The ladies at my synagogue last Friday were all talking about how we feel different after Shabbat prayers - we were all saying that we felt such a sense of peace after. It's really special for me because I have that constant, nonstop inner monologue that some folks with ADHD experience, and it's actually quiet inside my head for a little while during/after prayer services! It's this magical span of time where I just don't worry about anything, and it is such an amazing gift! I'm so glad you got to enjoy it at the mikvah, and I hope that same peace comes to you again and again - at Shabbat and always!
@@houseoflev I know the closer I draw to Hashem, the more peace I'll have in my life. I love this journey so much - and I can tell your family does as well!
Blessings and welcome to the tribe. It's especially wonderful that you make this transformation at this most stressful and difficult time for the Jewish people. Hope you come to the eretz soon..
Thank you for all you do for All Am Yisroil. Thank you for explaining what being a Jew means. People are wary of different, by normalizing the Jewish people and culture you have done so much for us all. Thank you again!!
Hi guys, and welcome to the Jewish family. You guys are amazing and wonderful. What a blessing to have you part of am Yisrael. Chazal are saying in the place that a bal tchiva is, even the biggest tzadik can't reach, you guys took the courage and decided the path you wanna take. A lot of sefurem are saying that the reason one becomes a convert is not because they are smarter than other people (which btw you both sound like very smart people) it's because they have a Jewish sole and that what's triggers them to convert, in other words you guys were born with a Jewish sole. You should know, most people are not replying to videos they see, so every voice that is replying is for thousand voices that didn't took the time to respond. I'm wishing you guys and for your precious family health and wealth and everything you need. All the best.
Wow wow!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely message. We appreciate it so much. We’re so grateful to be reconnected to our people. May Gd continue to bless you and your family
No words...I've never seen anything so special. You and your entire family are a huge inspiration for us all. As a FELLOW Jewish woman I can tell you that this sense of renewal and peace happens for me at the Mikvah every single month, obviously not to a fraction of a degree as someone doing the Mikvah for conversion - but the feeling is real. There's something about it. Welcome home!
I love this so much. We need more Gerim tzaddikim like you - an entire beautiful family joined Am Yisrael, Baruch HaShem. It is SO GOOD for us. I got emotional watching this video :) I davven that you will keep this feeling of excitement and spiritual upliftment!!
I've always been fascinated by the Mikveh, it seems like such a powerful and transformative experience with Hashem. As I walk the road to conversion the Mikveh is something I am so excited to experience.
Words can’t express how you feel after the Mikveh. When I entered I was so overwhelmed and felt nothing but pure love. I have followed your journey since the beginning. I’m proud of you guys. B’’H. ❤
I am so happy that you guys were able to savour the moment. My mikva day was the day before Rosh Hashana, whilst I was working in a kosher butcher. I had a break to go to the mivka, and then a break in the afternoon to go lay tefillin in the afternoon. I was not so sure how I felt, more than tired 😂😂😂. But seriously, I felt as though I was in a womb when I went under, and I agree about the peace. I then spent the afternoon with little thoughts like being able to count towards a minyan.😊 😊😊
This is beautiful! I know this had to be an amazing, meaningful experience. I’m curious, how did this compare to your Christian baptism? Also, some things in life are private and not for the world to see. Of course part of me would love to see the extra footage of this day, but I don’t know if we should. This was a holy and private experience that might be best left for your family only. I hope that’s not offensive to you. Please know that I mean well. ❤
There are some videos of mikvah experiences from ladies who go there monthly for the (spiritual) purification after they had their monthly periods. We get a little glimpse, but not the whole thing - one is supposed to go in completely undressed and unadorned, as similar to the day one was born as possible. So there are limits... 😉😄 But I'd really love to go to a mikvah at least once, after watching those. 😊
@@thekingsdaughter4233me too! I’ve seen some videos on the mikvah. It looks like such a beautiful and peaceful experience! We women have a lot going on with our bodies and to have some time alone to refocus at the mikvah would be wonderful! ❤ thanks for responding!
It is important to emphasize that this is not just water immersion. People can make mistakes. Even in Christianity (in contrast) there is water baptism. Here, after such a long process, the mikva became an experience of ending a journey❤
Listening to your story down in the bomb shelter... We live near Haifa, Israel, and there are rockets now. Thank you so much for the good energy, I needed it⚘
I was too nervous to be happy. I have such bad anxiety I could not enjoy it. I am a patrilineal Jew, so I felt Jewish my whole life. That might have had something to do with it as well.
For those of us who aren't Jewish, please explain what the significance of the mikvah represents or symbolizes. Is the purpose for regeneration? Similar to baptism?
So amazing...to see you understanding how lucky you are to become part of the Jewish nation. G-d's chosen people to be a light to all nations. To teach the world how G-d wants the world that He created to be! Mazel Tov❤
I felt the same...the mikvah was an emotional and deeply personal experience...I cried and was overcome with emotion and peace...a very memorable day❤
It’s life changing right??? 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@houseoflev yes! you are no longer the same...the mikvah is a renewal of the soul...a deeply personal renewal...
Watching this just ten days before my first Mikvah ahead of my Jewish wedding! I have chills
🥰 may you and your intended be richly blessed in your life together. All the best to you and yours. 😊
My fist mikvah was before my wedding day too!! Very emotional even though I was born Jewish

It’s still surreal for me that I’m Jewish. The mikveh is definitely an intimate experience that is indescribable.
I completely agree
What is a Jew? What makes you JEWISH?
You guys bring a little smile on my face during these hard days that we are facing here in Israel, Much love 💗
We love you all so much and we’re so happy to have all of you as our brothers and sisters in Am Yisrael! Shabbat Shalom. ❤❤❤

To my (non-Jewish) understanding, I'd say yes. The finishing step of the conversion process; symbol of new beginnings. 😊
Mikveh is a completely spiritual experience of renewal. For a convert they are reborn with a new soul and new identity.
So this was great and Toddah Rabbah. Could you plz pray for us holy sparks who do not have a community. ❤

What synagogue you all attend
Did you have to let go of Yosef for a second so that he’s fully covered when you put him in?
I did not let him go. He was fully immersed while holding him.

Are you making a bar mitzvah seudah for your big son? Usually we make it at 13 when a boy starts putting on tefillin
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
You are immersed in your imagination. You don' get an extra/new soul when you convert but you are give the opportunity to better yourselves.
Yeshua did the Mickvah with John the Baptist and this is when the Holy Spirit came down.
..............and they all lived happily ever after. The End
