Well he sure has turned Denver around and no doubt Denver is on the right road to relevance and obviously you don't want a coach that is going to sit back and wonder if you're rookie quarterback is on the same page which after that exchange showed that yes Bo Nix is all about it and had the confidence and leadership to put any doubts to rest unlike Wilson who had no argument or care in the world other than his big unwarranted contract
Exactly unlike Wilson who had no argument or care in the world who had no fight and showed that he was not there to be the best or even good Bo Nix is the real deal and that was evident when he was triggered by criticism he explained wasn't merited
From what I understand, Bo took a liberty on that playcall and thats where the disagreement was. Payton didnt like him going a bit rogue but Nix almost got them 6 points. If anything this whole interaction was absolutely a net positive for the Broncos.
It seems like every time a player has to be treated differently is with the current crop of young players. Its like none of them have been yelled at in their lives
In that case, Sean refrained from taking the big head because this time this rookie quarterback showed him that he wasn't willing to take it easy and show him that he also disagreed with Sean Payton's play calls.
Yes indeed and that confrontation was epic and showed that this team is passionate about winning and getting a rookie quarterback to get that fired up show's a desire to be excellent
I feel like the old school coaching style is falling out of favor with players in todays game at least at the nfl level but even a little in the ncaa now to with players being paid.
Sean Payton is unprofessional. It's crazy that people would criticize Rus for not reacting when we know how they would have been on his head if yelled back. Can't win for losing and it's a shame
Broncos fan and I completely agree with Shannon. Peyton is a problem. I think he added to the issues with Russ last year and then I see the same things happening this year.
How could he when he had no argument because he didn't have a big desire to win or lead his team Wilson has lost his competitive edge and passion for the game no doubt thankfully he is long gone and we have Bo Nix and Sean Payton this team is going to be winning for years to come
This situation and Wilson's is not comparable. Bo Nix was the one yelling. I understand emotions but Nix was a little bit too hyper for me. It's not like Nix is playing lights out football. He has a lot to learn.
They just said this is not college and Bo is a grown man. Exactly! This is not Oregon my dudes. You don't just switch up on a coach as a rookie because you saw something you liked. This is the NFL, make a wrong decision and you won't see the field again. Make a dumb move and you could end your career or life with an injury. Just ask Tua...or better yet...ask Brees when his shoulder almost got torn off against the...get this...BRONCOS. Then Payton got him a Lombardi. Nix thinks he is just gonna run around the field and sling the ball. These are grown men, they are getting paid millions to hurt you. You aren't playing UCLA anymore. Quarterbacks need to stop thinking they are Manning and Mahomes and start listening to their coach. He wants to help you Bueller, you can't just danke shoen
People don’t understand that this is what Payton WANTS from his QB. It’s completely different from Russ shutting down. This is that competitive nature that you want to see from your coach and his QB. Bo was also yelling at his receivers
@@frankcb11 he shut down. Defending Russ for not challenging his coach is funny. And Payton is the reason why Russ didn’t look like a CFL QB. How y’all continue to be ignorant and act like Russ did anything special is crazy
@@usopenitentiarywhat are you talking about? The broncos were on a run with Russ playing good ball. when Payton was on his bs to mess his money up. Your CFL reference is BS too
@@frankcb11 the Broncos were on a run because the defense was forcing an absurd amount of turnovers. He was averaging 178 yards a game during that 5 game winning streak. All he did was not screw anything up with turnovers. And he clearly played like a CFL QB the year before Payton because people were questioning his standing as a future HOF. That’s common knowledge
Sure he would have loved to have Wilson show any passion or confidence but instead Wilson had no argument and could care less, Peyton knows he has a rookie quarterback who's going all in and can be a leader who believes in himself and his coach
@@Koolarado...Russell Wilson had the same energy at Seattle when he won a Superbowl, he hasn't changed so this screaming and yelling is just Sean Peyton the drama queen.
Nah Shannon, Bo took accountability for that through...don't put those words in his mouth bro. Not cool. Bo took the high road and said he over threw him. Whatever they were arguing about it had nothing to do with Bo dropping the name blame
BS overrated not the NFL crown's one out of 32 team's a champion Sean was good enough to get one and have a team who was in the mix every year he had Brees then after Brees the whole team was going through the transformation of losing more than Brees, the bronco's had Wilson last year and still almost made the playoffs with a quarterback who could care less now in his second year he has a rookie quarterback and a defense that doesn't have alot of big name's that is in the top three best defenses and their winning by playing smart football by not turning the ball over, being penalized or taking sacks that is a sure sign of a well coached team
@@ShadomanG You can't have a SB win and be overrated. Over 90% of all coaches never won a SB. And Drew Brees was actually terrible before Payton coached him. So try again, little man.
@@watchmesquatch Drew Brees was not terrible. He was just hurt, shoulder surgery. You’re a casual. Sean Payton, hasn’t been remotely good in years on hand since that SB victory whereas, a Mike Tomlin has won games (not playoffs) w/scrubs since Roetholisberger retired.
Simply put. Hes the most overrated coach in NFL history. Missed the playoffs 6 TIMES with Drew Brees. Only won when he was putting bounties on guys, threw his DC overboard and pretended he knew nothing about it. Leaves NO because he was afraid of a rebuild. Tries to tamper his way to Miami. Comes to Denver, throws a hall of fame QB overboard. Has made 0 impact in the league without #9
Man stop acting like it was his fault Russell sucked they had him the year before they hired Payton and they were terrible then too. It’s sad but Russ is truly washed.
Sean has made magic with mediocre QBs since Brees retired. Teddy Bridgewater, Jameis, Taysom Hill, Russ, Bo Nix, all had better seasons than they would have without him.
Nick who is she? A Coach has the right to yell at whoever whenever he wants to get his point across and he is doing something right he showed Wilson had no rebuttal and didn't care about winning and he now showed that this quarterback is about winning by the way he stood up for himself and explained it all fired up Sean Peyton is a excellent coach no doubt about it
God I don’t miss ESPN and false narratives they push out lmaoo both Bo came out and Sean and said everything is well and here is ESPN talking about “IDKKK”
Russell Wilson's reaction was correct. I suspect Bo Nix's response was correct. The difference is the QB: Wilson is a seasoned vet with nothing to prove who saw the writing on the wall weeks before, and yelling at coach is useless; Nix is a rookie who's got something to prove and wants a future in Denver, so defending his corner is important. That said, in both cases the problem looks like Sean Payton.
I don't see a problem whatsoever I believe it was a great confrontation that showed that Sean and Bo are serious about winning and letting each other know that they believe in what they are doing
I don't see that because we're talking about a rookie quarterback and as a Coach you have to see if you're quarterback is on the same page and obviously Bo Nixs is definitely not the loser Wilson is
Have you ever get the feeling that sooner or later someone will get under the HC head at QB. Bo Nix isn't Russ and Nix got nix up by HC Payton that the assistants had to retrain them both. Russ knew that if he was in that prediction he would got the same thing like Bo, But you knew that Bo wasn't taking it and he's got the fire like Tom Brady in him.
Shannon,, You Do Know And Realize That Sense Leaving The Booth, Sean Payton Has Been A Major Losing Head Coach.. He Payton is single handed responsible for the broncos paying Wilson $ 37 Million To Just Go Away.. The Broncos Need To Move On From Payton.
Is professional sports the only place where the coach has to adapt to the player? In every job I've had, I had to get on the boss's page, not he/she on mine.

@@tigerhoods7927 only around 30 coaches have a SB win. Now stfu.
I know right, he is 3 and 2 with a rookie qb. Thats so easy, a cave man could do it.
That’s agape love, unconditional they were both in the right that’s how two positive forces operate in a man’s view.
I like it Sean didn’t cry about it and let it be and did you see how nix played after
How tf did they not get any audio of that
Oh okay no worries man thanks
In that case, Sean refrained from taking the big head because this time this rookie quarterback showed him that he wasn't willing to take it easy and show him that he also disagreed with Sean Payton's play calls.
Y’all are tripping out like some babies, this is the healthiest I’ve ever seen this Broncos team
The main difference between the TWO situations, they did not threaten to bench Bo Nix if he did not forgo $42M in guaranteed money….
🤔
Stop it Shannon
Sean Payton is unprofessional. It's crazy that people would criticize Rus for not reacting when we know how they would have been on his head if yelled back. Can't win for losing and it's a shame
How do we know " they" would have been on his head?
Bo is over rated.
Been saying the same thing Sean Peyton doesnt know what he is doing
What is Shannon Sharpe talking about
People like you are not important. You not even trying to comprehend what he’s saying. Just want to disagree.
@@Th3gr3atjuan we get it, you're black and you love being the victim. Go be a victim somewhere else.
Broncos fan and I completely agree with Shannon. Peyton is a problem. I think he added to the issues with Russ last year and then I see the same things happening this year.
Russell should have did the same thing
How could he when he had no argument because he didn't have a big desire to win or lead his team Wilson has lost his competitive edge and passion for the game no doubt thankfully he is long gone and we have Bo Nix and Sean Payton this team is going to be winning for years to come
@@Koolarado because Sean is a disrespectful coach. Who will NEVER win a SuperBowl again and only has a desire to disgrace his players.
This situation and Wilson's is not comparable. Bo Nix was the one yelling. I understand emotions but Nix was a little bit too hyper for me. It's not like Nix is playing lights out football. He has a lot to learn.
Sean Payton definitely likes when his players challenge him. It’s a respect thing.
Bingo that was epic and it showed any doubters Bo Nixs passion and desire to be great and win football game's by believing in what he has to do to win
It's clear all of you just watch 1 game all weekend.
Drew Brees made him
The way he did Russ was totally
disrespectful and Russ took it like a scorned child.
People don’t understand that this is what Payton WANTS from his QB. It’s completely different from Russ shutting down. This is that competitive nature that you want to see from your coach and his QB. Bo was also yelling at his receivers
Russ didn’t shut down? He just didn’t want to argue lol. He won last like 6 out of 7 games. Payton is a nube
@@frankcb11 he back down like a coward. Russ is a beta male.
Bo isn’t a pushover like Russell Wilson, this what Sean gets trying to talk down and baby his quarterbacks.
Facts Steven A
They cut Molly when she was abt to speak!! Good editor!
wow, he would have NEVER allowed Wilson to yell at him.......
@@Enochrry6024Jesus Christ dude this is football not golf. People yell all of the time on the sidelines
@@hunteradams6181 ...Not the coach sir, you can do your research on that, duuude.
@@hunteradams6181 ...And oooyeah, stop using the Messiah name like it's a slang.
How many times did we see TOM BRADY that fired up? Belichik dealt with it.
"Im a peacock coach you gotta let my fly!"
-Bo Nix probably
Sean Payton has done a lot less winning without Drew Brees.
Nah Shannon, Bo took accountability for that through...don't put those words in his mouth bro.
Not cool.
Bo took the high road and said he over threw him.
Whatever they were arguing about it had nothing to do with Bo dropping the name blame
Most OVERRATED coach of all time. He irritates me smh
Has made 0 impact in the league without #9
Russell Wilson no hall of fame qb
Man stop acting like it was his fault Russell sucked they had him the year before they hired Payton and they were terrible then too. It’s sad but Russ is truly washed.
Sean has made magic with mediocre QBs since Brees retired. Teddy Bridgewater, Jameis, Taysom Hill, Russ, Bo Nix, all had better seasons than they would have without him.
Yep the amount of goalpost moving for Payton is insane 😂
Being 3-2 w a bunch of no names except PS2 he's insanely good isn't bad at all, 3 wins in a row
Nick Saban says “ never yell at the quarterback in front of the rest of the team “
Nick who is she? A Coach has the right to yell at whoever whenever he wants to get his point across and he is doing something right he showed Wilson had no rebuttal and didn't care about winning and he now showed that this quarterback is about winning by the way he stood up for himself and explained it all fired up Sean Peyton is a excellent coach no doubt about it
@@Koolarado you have obviously led nobody anywhere. loser
@@w00deey12 never heard of her. She must be irrelevant.
Bo Nix is a rookie. So, SAS thinks it's ok for Bo Nix to think he knows everything as a rookie? What is SAS talking about?
@@lookfeelbehealthy6320 you're the most unintelligent clown on the internet 🤣🤣🤣
God I don’t miss ESPN and false narratives they push out lmaoo both Bo came out and Sean and said everything is well and here is ESPN talking about “IDKKK”
“Get inside of him”
Funny how they didn't talk about the Broncos being on a 3 game win streak.
That's a given everyone already knows what a excellent winning team Denver has become three wins is just the beginning nothing to see here
Ofc shannon wants to talk about getting inside
Russell Wilson's reaction was correct. I suspect Bo Nix's response was correct. The difference is the QB: Wilson is a seasoned vet with nothing to prove who saw the writing on the wall weeks before, and yelling at coach is useless; Nix is a rookie who's got something to prove and wants a future in Denver, so defending his corner is important. That said, in both cases the problem looks like Sean Payton.
I don't see a problem whatsoever I believe it was a great confrontation that showed that Sean and Bo are serious about winning and letting each other know that they believe in what they are doing
Let that have been Dak and McCarthy. A volcanic eruption!!!
If it would’ve been “someone else”… they would’ve been disrespecting the game
I don't see that because we're talking about a rookie quarterback and as a Coach you have to see if you're quarterback is on the same page and obviously Bo Nixs is definitely not the loser Wilson is
Have you ever get the feeling that sooner or later someone will get under the HC head at QB. Bo Nix isn't Russ and Nix got nix up by HC Payton that the assistants had to retrain them both. Russ knew that if he was in that prediction he would got the same thing like Bo, But you knew that Bo wasn't taking it and he's got the fire like Tom Brady in him.
I'm rocking with Bo! Sean Payton be on one. Coach is going to end up without a job if he can't get it together.
