- A quick vlog showing an example of what local work with your cargo van may look like. These guys normally do this route 6 days a week. That's $990 a week, and it doesn't take long to complete, so you have time to do other local work if you find an opportunity like this.

@@ChampagneMonet I look forward to this video as I am researching to get started soon. I know the gas prices are up but I believe. I'm not sure if you said you were doing this full time or not.
Good day Champagne, what company company do you use for Courier work?
Hi I just found your channel and watched the previous video and now this one. I noticed you don’t have any more cargo van videos. Are you still driving and delivering?
Need more information, per hour rate, per day, per week, miles , how u got the job.
💜💜💜
Hi thanks for your amazing & informative content can you please give us a complete breakdown of all your expenses w this company i would like to know what the expenses are per day
You filted it up lol
Please tell me where did you get and how that customer and name of company.please help me I need work and have van..thank you
It’s work everywhere, I know you weren’t asking me. But a quick google search could never hurt. Or even going into local businesses and seeing if they can use your service.
For local work you can just do a Google search for cargo van jobs in your area. That’s how I found this.
What is the make, model, and year ? Great video.
2017 Ram ProMaster high roof
Like fav and subbed!!!
Hey I’m a driver for panther in a cargo van that might be a lil longer then yours
And for a 15-20 hour trip there and back on that dedicated route to cali that you have you should be getting way more money on top of a fuel sercharge cause it’s your van and with these hi gas prices your basically working for free
You should be getting 600 a day bare minimum you should try to negotiate a better rate I understand your found something steady and that is cool but being that your responable for the gas and maintenance on your van you should be getting way more money 600 a day minimum anything less they are taking advantage of you
If you think I’m lying ask somebody you trust about that route or a similar one and tell them what your getting and not getting for 365 a day for for day a week and they will tell you your getting robbed!!!
Best of luck and be safe and blessed on the road🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Appreciate the input. I was doing the route before gas prices shot up, and the rate was definitely renegotiated at the time. I also had deals on oil changes and maintenance, warranties, etc., so the cost of that was never anything crazy, thankfully.
How cool, I’ve been looking into getting a cargo or sprinter van, your video popped up & you live in Vegas lol I currently work for Sysco here in Vegas as a delivery driver & wanted to get into my own local business with the cargo van & slowly grow from there into the semi’s. Also, was looking to get contracted with this type of delivery to the post office since I also used to work there before I got into trucking. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽 maybe I’ll see you out in the streets who knows lol
That would be awesome haha, Vegas is actually really small! Thank you for watching and I hope everything works out for you. GET THAT SEMI, GIRL. That's where the big bucks are!!
I’ve also been looking to start looking to start did you ever go ahead with it?
Hello Beautiful! Thank you so much for the beautiful and informative content. I live in Vegas and just got my cargo van for delivery job. Can we also work part time or they hire on full time basis. Thank you so much 💗💗💗
I have my LLC and EIN number, looking for a van to get started please help me know what's the next step?
I’m following you and really interested to work cargo van please give me tips
Hope to see more videos like this it’s been a while I hope you’re OK
Doing fine! Just finished up my degree, working towards a career with that. Renting my van out to a local independent contractor for now.
@@ChampagneMonet that’s great. Looking into getting a van in the summer when I get some bigger contracts out here in Vegas. Right now I’m just doing independent contracting with my car.
What’s the wheel base of your van, I got 134wb
Yeaaaaa the COVID test route seemed like the better route... This actually looks like work
For local work you can typically expect some kind of physical labor with it unfortunately 😂
Are you still doing your California route?
No, not since Covid "ended".
Where can i get a cargo van?
You forking go girl
Hi! I have a question. How did you go about purchasing your van? What steps did you take? I’m starting from scratch and need some pointers. Thank you I’ve already subscribed.
I was looking online mostly, found a local dealership with one and locked it in. It's the same steps as purchasing a personal vehicle, but do a lot of research. Know what specs you want and what you can afford and don't budge on the price. Something will come along in your price range.
IM GETTING INTO THE CARGO BUSINESS MYSELF
How much of the percent do the dispatch/courier company takes from u
How did you find that gig
Google and networking is the best for local work.
How did you find this contract job for post offices in Las vegas
It’s not contracted through the post office unfortunately. Just got it through one of the courier companies I work with.
Not enough money in local delivery wirk.
I’m struggling on find affordable commercial cargo insurance. Who do you insure with? Or what’s the trick to have that policy companies want without spending a whole check?
I was using progressive when I did OTR, but it was still about a grand. In state only insurance was much cheaper, about $150.
How can I get/find a van?!
I was thinking about doing this but renting cargo vans is expensive were iam at...
Yeah, if you have to rent it will definitely cut into the profit and there's the uncertainty if you can't get a rental then you can't work.
@@ChampagneMonet yea I would have needed a plug like u got😄
Did you create an LLC for yourself or you just contract out under the company’s name?
Also..who did your flooring and equipment storage? Looks great 👌🏾
I did create an LLC, it was needed for OTR, not so much on the local work though. I lucked out and got the van with the flooring and everything.
nice vid like the other vid i watched from you, thank you for sharing. I'm planning on jumping in to the business as well. Q?; any issues with the van other than the door? cause I've seen some vids where they regret getting that type of brand/van? again, thank you & stay safe!
No I haven't had any issues with the van outside of the door (which was my fault). Everything else runs smoothly, I had no issues driving it across the country either. My van only had one previous owner, and they had it for personal use not business. Thanks for watching!
Just found your videos 2day, 9/30/22.
I enjoy the realness & brevity.
☆Any updates, since Feb & Apr 2022
☆☆Are you still in the business ?
Thinking about getting into this business. What’s the average start up cost? And is there an app to look up loads.
The biggest cost for start up is going to be the van, insurance and business license. The prices will vary based on a lot of factors, so that's a difficult question to answer. Depending on your credit/down payment on the van, accident history with insurance and cost of business license in your state.
There's no app to download and look for OTR loads without being established (business license, MC number, etc.) unfortunately. I think the DAT load board may do a free trial of some sort to give you an idea, though.
@@ChampagneMonet when you say business license, do you mean the LLC and EIN? I’m looking to get started but I’ve only heard about the LLC and EIN for setting up the business entity. Love you videos btw.
@@dsmck70 Yes, just the LLC and EIN for tax purposes. Thank you for watching!
are you own/operate??
How many post offices did you go to?
Only 4 on that route.
You doing over the road
Not at the moment, no.
Do you think of going otr again? Enjoy your videos. Hope you do more.
I do consider it sometimes as I miss traveling across the country and exploring new places.
Hey! when you first got started in cargo vans, did you find a few companies to deliver for before purchasing a van or after?
It depends if you’re doing OTR. If so, you can make a list of brokers you could work with, but you can’t really do anything as far as contacting them until you’re all set up and ready roll
Are you still in the cargo van business? If not, why? If you care to share.
I am not. I just finished my degree and am working towards something else right now, but I'm renting out my van to someone for local work.
I have van cargo, how do you get load?
For OTR you can try LoadHive or FastExact, but for local work it can be found with google.
Good eveing first of mi you exquisite look love a physical and young lady and a strong minded one as well, keep doing as long you love it. If you don't mine me ask what app or company you work for, and sorry if I was too plunt.
I just found your channel, and I was wondering if your van came furnished or did you have to finish it? I love the floors are really nice.
The previous owner has installed it all :) thanks for watching!
Where you go? Beta staying working
I stay working 😂 That’s what makes it harder to get videos up. I have at least one more planned, hopefully I’ll get a chance to record it soon.
Need help?
I got it under control 💪🏾 but thank you
Wow you’re cute …. Great video …
You’re cute and funny
