There are probaly three reason for that, 1) she finally got used to Koro-san, 2) she gave up fighting a losing battle against the master wife, 3) Korone must had gotten Okayu scent on her somehow😏

Yep, their friendship started way before they joined hololive. One of my favorite story is that Fubuki kind of scouted Okakoro. She got close with Okakoro while fighting them at an arcade. After she became friends with the two, Fubuki asked them to join hololive.
@@likuanwei The end of the story wasn't Fubuki asking only Okayu to join hololive?? Then okayu asked korone to join too?? Maybe i'm wrong, i don't remember so much how the backstory was. But yeah, a really emotive friendship and story. It's as if a lot coincidences happened and now they are here now with us
@@desadoom4804 No you're right. Okayu was asked to join and then they asked if she knew anyone, to which she recommended Korone.
@@likuanwei Just as a reminder once again, that story was made up to fit the character settings. It was actually Mio who got them in. Her, Okayu and Korone all knew each other from previous work.

I've always wondered about their friendship and age differences, I just chopped it up to Okayu being somewhat mature for her age and Korone being somewhat immature for hers and they met in the middle.
It's cute, but there's still a dynamic that was explored.

It's easy to forget, but there is a sizable age gap between Okayu and Koro-san. I often forget that their closeness is kind of unusual because of that. Okayu worked really hard to be acknowledged as an adult, huh? Despite being rather clingy off-stream, she's got reliable qualities. And turning Koro-san from a pure introvert into the talkative doggo she is now is also in part thanks to her.
