    Dr. Boster. I am a part time chef for our own business. We are the only food based business here that's totally farm sourced and Heritage style cooking, scratch non-GMO organic and certified humane. We're a food truck but fully real! Real food is such a passionate position I have. We did a experiment as a family, real biscuit over fast food biscuit. The real biscuit I made molded in 4days, the fast food one remained exactly the same for a whole year!! Was a valuable lesson for our children. I've always said, stay on the outside isles! Eating real food has been a huge help to me!

I will commit to not eating eggs, beef, or milk. After two months, I will present my experience to you so that you can circulate it to your followers. And thank you very much

      Were all out here. I was diagnosed in 94 at age 24. Its a disease thst can be invisible to those who are not dealing w/ anything in their health. No worries!! We all face it. Especially when 1st diagnosed with the fear of what might happen. I lost a decade due to the mystery of possible major disability. I decided to go back to school and am now a Respiratory Practitioner. I let the fear take control for quite awhile.

      Karen Holland Thank you for sharing your story. Growing up my favorite teacher had MS and left teaching immediately. Last time I saw her was about the same time I was diagnosed. She was in her forties, in a senior care center and being spoon fed by an aide. I was diagnosed 20 years ago now but since my symptoms are not visible, my family doesn’t understand

    My doctor [UK] recommended eating nothing after dinner (for me, that means nothing after 20:00) and nothing before breakfast at 09:00, which I find hard but doable, and it gives me a 13 hour fast, just in case that helps anyone 🙂

    I have forgotten exactly what you called it, but the way you described how your family figured out what to eat was simply amazing. I did this differently. I took note of how I felt after a meal and the next day. I used to vomit violently everyday. I found that cutting out fried anything helped which led me to a low fat diet since I found that the overall fat intake was a part of the cause. I switched to a low fat milk, but found it was still a problem so cut down a lot on milk products. I also found that heavy foods, like pasta and potatoes made me super fatigued for longer than just one day so cut out the heavy foods. I also took you up on the water challenge. This has made a huge difference! Thank You!!! I’ve also been trying to eat non-processed food. Still working on this, but I’m down to only 1 small glass of coke! This is huge difference for me since I could easily drink a 2L bottle a day! I’m not overweight which I feel is really important for us even more than people without this type of disease, but still trying to eat healthier. I am also trying to eat 3 meals a day, but I often don’t feel like eating early in the morning. As far as intermittent fasting goes, I do have a fasting day here and there. It’s not scheduled. If my stomach feels crappy, I skip solid foods and stick to water. Usually, I feel better the next day. If not, I stick to eating light, but never fast more than a day. Sorry for the mini book. 😆 Thanks for sharing your thoughts on diets! ❤️❤️🤗❤️❤️

    • @emilye709
      @emilye709 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The problem is not fat. It's that you lack the HCA and bile to break down fat. Removing fat is a bandied. Fix the root cause for long-term health because without adequate bile, you are not detoxing properly or absorbing fat solvable vitamins or cholesterol, which is really important for brain health and myelin repair. Obviously, choose healthy fats like avocados, fish, olive, tallow, butter and ghee and avoid seed oils like canola, corn or soy like your life depends on it, because it does. Those toxic oils will stay in your cell membrane for 4+ yrs. Remember that your brain and every cell in your body is made from fat. Fat is essential. Whatever fat you eat, your body will use to make your cells and brain so choose wisely.

    Hi I just found your channel. I’m from Atlanta. I’m still being evaluated for MS. My neurologist thinks I have it due to 5 to 8 lesions on my MRI. Spinal tap was normal. They’re going to do a neck MRI. I think stress made me have MS. Ive purchased several supplements like B12 and Lecithin. I’m depressed about the things I shouldn’t eat like dairy. I’m hoping I don’t have MS and that if I eat better I’ll reverse whatever is wrong with me. I do need to lose weight as well. Your plants and space is pretty .

    Thank you very much for this video. Your efforts and work are much appreciated.
    Before watching this video, I was having a late evening meal. Did I already believe that diet or eating affects me? I knew it for certain. I could recount some classic examples. An hour or so ago, after I finished eating my dinner in the kitchen, I could bearly walk (with my two sticks) back to the living room. I am of the opinion that part of the cause of my extremely reduced walking abilities after I've eaten is to do with the rise in my body temperature due to digestion.
    Nearly four years ago, I got of a plane in Malaga. They had cocked up the special assistance, which meant that there was no assistance for me. I was told to sit and wait. A taxi was already booked for us and waiting outside the terminal building. I knew that they had just fobbed us off and no special assistance was coming for me. At that time, I had no wheelchair of my own. A fellow member of our party was obese in the extreme. I decided to try and walk it. I walked and I walked. I walked through passport control and I walked through baggage collect ... and then I walked through the length of Malaga Airport terminal to the taxi pickup point. I outpaced the obese fellow who lagged behind me and began to drown in his own sweat. What I did it was amazing and it amazed me. Was that events relevant to diet? Well my carer had had been concentrating on other things and had not packed any food for me for the journey. Because I was gluten-free at the time, I couldn't just pick up sandwich at the airport. I was bloody starving and apart from from some little packets of dried fruit that I had in my pockets, I had nothing. All I'd eaten for the previous 12 hours was the raisins and airport coffee.

    Im on the eat WTFIW diet. I count calories. When I first got diagnosed 9/2018 I followed the Walls protocol and did see some results in my gut health, but eventually my body adapted to it. Now, my thought is to get in the best shape of my life and stay lean. I dont drink alcohol or smoke. I have to remind myself sometimes when i get over heated and have spaghetti legs that I have M.S. Enjoy life and eat WTFYW, in moderation. I recently went on vacation to Sedona. I water slide down a river. I went on a jeep tour in the desert off road. I paid the price, the next day and I got sunburn. Someone said, be careful you can get skin cancer. I laughed at them and said, at 53 with M.S., i am going to enjoy life to the fullest. Since watching your videos, I do drink more water. I dont drink coffee. I drink diet soda and water.

    • @johnscards4633

      @@angelablair3473 aspartame is aspartic acid and phenylalanine. Our body makes both as amino acids. Amino acids are proteins and 200 to 400 times sweeter than sugar. Dont believe everything you read on the internet. Table sugar is way worse than aspartame. I would be more worried about the sun causing cancer then aspartame hurting me. I have a Graduate degree in Kinesiology, believe me I have done the research. I am going to the gym this morning to deadlift over 300lbs. Im not worried about diet drinks or anything that I eat that is going to hurt me. Just going to stay independent so nobody has to wipe me ass.😊 I'm off the soap box now. Have a nice day.😎 I am perfectly healthy, I just have this incurable disease that rears its ugly head when I get over heated. So after I work out with weights, i will go for a swim. Keep cool, it is hot out here in California. The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

      @@feliciastrobhert6220 Dr B asked me to take high dose biotin about a year ago. The hope is that it will help preserve healthy brain tissue and help ppl with accelerated brain loss/atrophy (me!) by slowing it. There have only been one or two studies that demonstrate "some" improvement. My brain loss is accelerated, so we're trying whatever has shown any possibility of slowing it. I don't know yet if it's working. ? I've been off of it for a week so I can get some annual routing blood work done.

    I am still learning how to live with my diagnosis daily. For the last 2 yrs prognosis hasn't changed. The activity in my brain has is the same. I don't hv any new scars thankfully. I am goin to go back to taking Copaxone very soon however my insurance wants me to start on the Glutopia version of Copaxone. I had reactions to the Glatiramir version. But my insurance wants me to try the Glutopia version first. That was the hold up frm me taking the Copaxone. Since I only hv medicaid they will not pay for the real Copaxone. Ik I hv to get back to taking my vitamin D also. I jst got a new neurologist. My insurance offers one kind of vitamin D. The one I take is ok but everybody in my only MS group says the other one is better for me.

    Thank you Dr Boster! I have a question if it is worth you addressing it. My husband does the cooking now, he loves his meat, pasta and potatoes. I on the other hand choke on those foods. I can not stand long enough to cook so I eat a lot of soft can fruit and greek yogurt. In fact, this is pretty much my diet. It is not helping me to loose weight.For breakfast I have blueberries, strawberries in my cereal. For lunch, every day I have a yogurt, 4 strawberries and an orange. and for dinner, its a fruit salad. I have been able to use my pressure cooker to make black bean soup. yeah.. I rinse my fruit for about 5 min while I cut it but I am concerned that I am still getting too much sugar and not getting the benefit of the fruit. Can you recommend other soft foods that are easy to make that are better for those of us on soft foods.
