we are all settled in at home, Enzo is now 3 weeks old and I'm getting back into the swing of life :)

I’ve followed your infertility journey from the start as I was going through the same thing. Cried along with you. I’m so so glad you got your happy ending with your beautiful babies. I ended up getting through infertility and had a girl in 2017 and then a boy too in 2019.
You fed him for a couple of days is amazing. Formula is perfect too! Best decision for you and your family. You are so strong calling it now!
Fellow x2 C-section mama here too! My son (1st child) hated BF and I stopped after 2-3 weeks! My daughter is a little better but my god it’s hard!
I am so excited but as soon she said "I love him" I started crying and watching the transformation of becoming a big sister in her face the second time she holds Enzo with Dean, priceless ❤. Congratulations Crystal and Dean much love from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🫂❤
Firstly, congratulations on baby Enzo. I’ve following your journey from the start, and I’m so so happy for you and Dean that you have two beautiful children. Secondly, thank you for speaking out about your breastfeeding journey! I’m recently a FTM and didn’t realise how hard breastfeeding would be. We had latching issues and I tried to push through for 2 weeks but it was destroying me to a point I didn’t even want to hold my baby. Fed is always best ❤

Thank you for sharing your vulnerability of breastfeeding! You could have easily left it out but it will help so many women make the decision faster and save their mental health! My first son couldn’t latch so I pumped for 6 months with D-MER, i was a mess. I had my second son 01 Feb and told myself if I had similar issues I would formula feed. He’s been great and is breastfed but I know what facing that decision is like! You’re doing amazing.

⭐️ Fed is absolutely best. I pushed through with my first baby for a week and my mental health got to the point where I was having suicidal thoughts. I'm proud of you for making a decision that some won't understand but you know if the best for you and your family. 👏🏻

My breastfeeding journey basically broke my heart, I was devastated that it didn’t go to plan and tried EVERYTHING. She eventually latched at 6 weeks but stopped again at 5 months. You’re amazing and Enzo and Daisy ( and Dean 😂) are so lucky to have you as their mama. Thank you for sharing that what we want to do doesn’t always go to plan. Big hugs mama xx

Congratulations 😊 he’s beautiful. I had my third last year and he was my first c-section. I found the recovery so much harder than vaginal birth. You’re doing amazing.
I’m a formula feeding mum because I know my mental health suffers in the first few weeks so it’s good to have my husband doing some night feeds. I hate that we still feel like we need to explain our reason behind choosing formula when the fact is fed is best.

Don't waste a minute more thinking about breast/bottle. If your well and baby is well your absolutely smashing it. I couldn't breastfeed my last..I was so exhausted after my section I couldn't. He's 8 now!
Hi Crystal! A big congratulations to you guys! I was in the same boat as you with breastfeeding. I was a mess because my milk just wasn’t coming in and they wanted to me to take my youngest back up because she lost so much weight. So I decided to switch her on day 4! Day 5 I think my milk came in but I was already mentally done! Congratulations again! You have a mini mummy and mini daddy xoxoxox

Both of my babies were elective c-sections also, my 2020 baby was public and 2022 baby was private and the private birth was so healing and validating for me.

you look absolutely beautiful chrystal. I heard a wives tale that the longer your breast feed the smarter the babies become and also its good for you. Congratulations and please when you're feeling up to it can you show some more hairdos, thats your gift! :)
