Amen. thank you Jesus Christ❤️✝️ Dear those who are reading this message, if you are having a hard time, remember that you are not alone and never give up. I wish you good health, success, love and happiness 1 was homeless, did drugs went into prison, where got to know God. Changed my life. Now have a home, a Husband and a lovely year dauther (Tracy), and now I'm favoured, $130K every 4weeks! I can now afford anything and also support God's work and the church....I want to share this miraculous testimony to help my brethren in this trying time's that the devil has flood the world with inflation.
Big Thanks to Mrs Angelia M. Brown I own a House🏡and also did paid off my loaned mortgages that I owed the bank weeks ago and now I'm steadily cashing out HUGELY every week.
I grew up in an Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. I was also active in the Young Life program. Once I left home I never went back. I dropped out of college and became a rock-n-roll musician. I tried to find a church every now and then over the years, but none of those protestant churches beckoned me to return. Something that I could not identify was missing. I knew I would fall away so I didn't bother returning. I stumbled upon Bishop Barron while checking out the Apologetics TH-cam channel called "Unbelievable?" He was debating a young atheist named Alex O'Connor, aka, The Cosmic Skeptic. Alex seems a good enough chap, but boy did he get taken to the woodshed. As a result of that video I listened/watched every Bishop Barron lecture, video, discussion, debate that I could find on TH-cam while I stripped and stained our back fence during the Summer of 2021 (about 3 weeks). After studying many Catholic resources over the next 4 or 5 months I asked a Catholic couple I'd known for decades if I could tag along for Christmas Eve Mass (2021). Something followed me out the door and has been with me since that day. I became a confirmed Catholic at the 2023 Easter Vigil. A friend I've known since age 9 led me to the authentic Jesus Christ. BISHOP BARRON LED ME TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH and for the first time I have a strong relationship with Jesus. Catholicism is a way of life.
*Bishop Barron:* The first Vicar of Christ in the soul is the conscience, the voice of God, the still small voice that communicates to us God's will and purpose.
@@kevinkelly2162 I always doubted this train of thought: "when you ear the voice of conciousness is God". But with time I realize: many times this voice talks to me with wisdom I could not have, with a precision I didn't have. The voice, some times talked what I didn't wanna ear. Then I came to doubt the doubt.
All right, Lord, I'm ready. Speak, I'm listening and I'm willing to do your will. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 'Do not stand praying in the synagogues and on the street corners like the hypocrites that they may be seen by men.'
"Up in the skies among soft mellow clouds are flashing lightnings and thunderous claps. Down on the hills and in 'woods lovely, dark and deep' are songs of the birds and roar of lion. Deep down in my own humble heart are still small voices, my Father's words."
Beautiful, my son was just talking about conscience and where it came from according to science, the outcome of your life will be very different depending on your beliefs. I chose God, he knows more than the scientists!
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it K😟
Samuel came into existence in a remarkable way, and so it's fitting that he would encounter the first revelation of God in a long time. Bishop Barron rightly notes what happens next when God tells Samuel to offer a message of impending judgment. Yet, through his obedience, God works through him, as the final verse in today's first reading indicates.
Thank you for this wonderful homily! It is very timely, as I recently retired from a corporate job, and while retirement is amazing, my "Word of God" is encouraging me to consider a job working for the church and the mission to serve God's people. May all God's children take the time to listen to your messages and the voice of God in their conscience and obey.
The parable of Jonah is very funny, it is a great story of God’s never giving up on us. My favorite part of the story is at the end when Jonah once again bolts into an area that is very hot and he is sitting, sweating outside in the sun. And then a vine starts growing right next to him and one of the leaves grows and covers Jonah’s head, to give him shade. God doesn’t give up on us! That is such a sweet part of the story. First you laugh, and then at the end of the story you cry. God is love. ❤️✝️
Here is what I know at least when it comes to me. Whatever plan or scheme I come up isn’t going to work. But if I follow Christ and take up my cross that will lead to success
Bishop Barron, you have a special gift, you can narrate beautifully breaking down the gospel’s and relating to today’s events Oh Yes Bishop, my conscience was silent or I just wasn’t paying attention……at the time, if only. Peace Be With you Bishop Thank you for this important homily….
My conscience is telling me some crystal clear things about people who tell really Big Lies. I wonder what John the Baptist would say today. . . Thank you Bishop Barron for your weekly insights!
Thank you for your marvellous explanation on the subject of conscience, Bishop Barron. I am one of those who're unsure of what to do when hearing that 'small voice'. But now that I know, I think it will be much easier for me, in the future, to listen carefully and thereafter make the best decisions that will please God. 👍🙏
I would find myself falling asleep during mass. Im not perfect, but I gather my strength and pay attention. It's the WHY when it comes to the direction of our attention. Change the why in our hearts through prayer, and it starts to forge into something strong and bold.
Thank you Bishop Barron. We are all witness here to your calling, your uniqueness in delivering the best sermons like no other can do. We are blessed to be able to hear you speak the Lord's message each week. Bonne et heureuse annee!
Thank you Bishop Barron! I raised our girls always with this thought that their conscience was the voice of God. Kept them on the path! Love, love, love your homilies!

Thank you once again Bishop Barron. Your messages are so clear and you always hit the nail on the head. I have been listening to you for a number of years now and you keep me on track and full of hope for those who need your message. ❤
I proclaimed this, Samuel reading, one of my favorite passages, as lector last evening at Saturday mass. Now hearing Bishop Barron's explanation, I have deeper understanding of the significance of this passage. I appreciate that, I always learn from him.
Bishop Barron’s sermons are always pretty useful. Nevertheless, in this very speech, he could of made a link between Hanna and Mary. No one more than Our Lady heard God’s voice thru the counciousness and obeyed it. Saint John Paul II used to refer to the Virgin Mary in all his homilies and the late pope explained that the marian devotion is a powerful instrument in ecumenism.
Bishop Baron has so many dimensions to be able to tease out the very depths of the meaning(s) in the Gospel is simply amazing and a tremendous gift (to us). Perhaps Bishop Baron is the "voice of God" !? which we should take heed of this day in this sermon?
May God help our inner mind to know when He’s talking to us and make us alert to be always ready to do His will🙏🙏🙏🙏 God bless and strengthen you Bishop Barron❤️
I love this story of the Bible a lot! Today, when I listen to this great sermon, it is like a great confirmation to me and the great way to answer God’s call should be:“Speak, Lord. Here I am.” Thank you Fr. Barron for this wonderful homily from God🙏🙏🙏
The more I try to recognize God’s presence in one new person, things or relationship around me each day the easier it get for me to accept His words and His calling for my life and live out His calling each day. Thank you bishop for another good sermon.
I praise n thanking GOD for the gift of having Bishop Baron teaching, I m far from the part of the world yet GOD provide this previllage to hear HIS message. Thank you I respect you highly. GOD BLESS you.❤
Yes indeed the tiny voice of conscience is in us all. Yet if that is all it is then what is the difference between ordinary people especially non believers who have a conscience about morality, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit received in the Sacrament of Confirmation? I do think the Lord's voice when we hear it is about our deeper Spiritual life with God. That voice of the Lord is distinctly different as it comes to us in dreams, prayer and contemplation and when we are in need, provides direction in our spiritual life of our journey with God. It is directive as when Joseph was directed to return home on another path. It is clear and decisive and adds something new to our life with the Lord that was not known or understood before. If this is not so then the gifts of the Holy Spirit are being conflated with conscience and morality . So I am convinced that there is more to hearing the voice of the Lord than morality and conscience. For those who are called 'according to His purpose' there is a relationship with the Lord that is distinct from conscience and God's voice is heard in a different way. Even though sometimes we don't quite 'get it' with our conscience, when the Lord's voice comes through Holy Spirit it is clear and unmistakeable. Discerning the difference is the distinction between 'thou shall not' and 'though shalt'!
Take the easy way- Samuel went back to sleep. Like the rest of us. Maybe this is why my mom told me that lying in bed was a sin. How many of us thought it better to stay in bed today instead of going to mass because of the cold and are lying in bed watching this

So nice to see Angelia Marie talked about here, her good works are speaking already, and like wide fire she's spreading.
Wow, I am surprised Angelia Marie is being mentioned here, I started off with 2000 ...now with a massive portfolio.highly recommended..
Please how do I get connected with this Madam Angelia ?. I've actually heard a lot about her.
Of all the public content released by Bishop Barron, I continue to rely on these Sunday sermons for contemplation. Please keep these coming!
Likewise.
Bishop Barron is such a gift to humanity. I love every sermon.
