1:56 You know, I find it hard to believe that this is the last time we ever see this pig in the entire film. My brother even made a speculation that the pig might've died when the house got swallowed up in the sinkhole but there is actually a deleted scene at the end of the film where the pig is painting Santa's Little Helper's kennel alongside Santa's Little Helper and the multi-eyed squirrel. But I don't know why it wasn't kept in, considering the pig isn't even seen or mentioned again after this mob scene.

The angry mob scene is probably the darkest scene in any Simpsons media, although it does make sense, considering that this film was released in 2007, the time of year when sequels and adaptations began to get darker, including "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and "Spider-Man 3".

The Simpsons is another one of those Movies where an entire population of a Town/City is completely mad at the protagonist, but then at the end of that movie, everybody not only forgives them, but even starts to support 'em just because they saved their world from being doomed! Like, wow.

Definitely the whole point of this scene was that it was a very serious situation not just the town got trapped in the dome but Homer was also responsible for the whole thing so the mob thinks that Homer deserves to die especially when he said "That could be anybody's pig crap silo" whilst making excuses to do the wrong thing so yeah!

This is probably more disturbing and terrifying than the treehouse of horror episodes this isn't just the people of Springfield wanting to kick them out or throw objects at them they want to kill them and possibly even torture them they don't even want to kill just homer the want to murder the whole family including an infant and abe Is willing to shot his own daughter in law and grandchildren even when I first saw this at 8 years old in the cinema I was disturbed not scared just disturbed

Definitely the whole point of this scene was that it was a very serious situation not just the town got trapped in the dome but Homer was also responsible for the whole thing so the mob thinks that Homer deserves to die especially when he said "That could be anybody's pig crap silo" whilst making excuses to do the wrong thing so yeah!
With the way people are behaving in the 2020's, it shocks me this hasn't been predicted. . .yet.
