  • Thanks to Swiss carpenter Paul Ardüser a classic returns to its hometown. Backed by a crowdfunding campaign he managed to reproduce and manufacture the traditional Davos sled again.

Been helping my Dad clear the attic for a move and came across my old Davos from the 1960s! The runners are pretty rusted and the wood has a little woodworm but oh boy am I ever going to renovate the F out of it :-)

So, to be a real Davos sled it has to cost 6 times more than a regular one?

Why can't they have a shield on the front to protect the face? Just a little?

I hit speeds of 40mph (50) kph maybe and I am blinded by the snow. I have an original from the early 70's

The "Davos" sled imitation in Germany is quite good, you don't need to spend more than 60 Euro...
In Switzerland, everything is super expensive.

$600 Euros for a snow sled ? So $680 USD. YA, ok.
