Managed to see GMU at WGI Richmond two seasons in a row (2019 and 2022) and they were an absolute treat to watch each time. They were always the pinnacle of an otherwise rather small WGI competition.
GMU has been on the up and up for some time now, I feel like they've especially gained some traction since 2019. Great to see them keep pushing the bar in spite of the difficulties of the last couple of years
GMU’s show looks to be pretty well-produced already too, which means they can really spend the last couple weeks cleaning. Hope they break into the top 6!
Our quad and snare tech march gmu and it’s always a treat to watch them. Being in the only scholastic world is VA it’s always nice to compare myself to gmu
Was lucky enough to catch a full run of this show up close in the lot at AIA finals since two of our techs march GMUID (quad section leader and plateline). The energy was absolutely insane and they were clean as hell. Difficult book too!
