This is worlds colliding for me. Been listening/following to Logic’s art forever. And since starting my career a few years ago, I’ve been following Simon. Wild how similar people/mindsets attract one another. Blessings to both these good role models for men
The intersection of time and opportunity led to sparks of enlightenment. Can't plan for that, but can leverage it, as you did :) He posed a deeply human question: "How can you be angry at someone with a disease?" - The choice to see one who hurt you as a wounded puppy, not a ferocious wolf. -- This mindset is a footstool of restoration. P.S. You have mastered the restorative art of questioning. Balanced steadily on the beam of curiosity, vulnerability, and non-judgmentalism. Remarquable!
knowing the world logic came from just makes me a billion times more grateful for those albums and mixtapes that brought me joy and a positive message of hope during some of my hardest times. to watch someome defy their upbriging and go in such a positive direction is so commendable. that shit genunely kept me going as a kid and even now. so i'm eternally grateful. thanks logic
I've always loved Logic's life story. His parents neglected and abused him, his dad would steal his hard earned money to buy drugs. But he chose a different path. That's why his fellow rappers call him corny because his lyrics different, and because they'd rather him rap about drugs and s3ggs and gangs and crime like they do.
wow, 15 minutes in and all I can think is "wow." It's like looking at myself in this video! The way our lives and mindset mirror each other is striking.
May his soul rest in peace. Sometimes those are the most kindest people the ones with tattoos, strong physiques, smokers etc., growing up I didn’t think that way but now I get to experience it in my daily work life they are the greatest , kindest souls. We can’t judge a book by its cover.
Hi Micheal Simon, my name is Agbi, I have made up my mind to listen to all your videos you have over 800 plus videos. You are very much the kind of thinker and a revolution to life balance. I hope to see you somebody in life.
Loved this! Thank you for interviewing Logic. I just discovered this podcast today and it was very insightful and inspiring. I appreciate this expansion.
This conversation is so raw and in the moment, I really appreciate it and Logic's willingness to be open and go through hard memories from his childhood. Thank you both for this awesome interaction.
I will be totally transparent. I am so grateful that you brought on someone that is absolutely brilliant and different in his own way...Someone who is a tad different than you. I laughed so much! It was like I saw you from a different lense. In a good way. He pulled something out of you that was just marvelous to see...complete vulnerability. I absolutely loved all of this! ❤

I’m halfway thru Logics memoir, hearing him say he talked to his mom is so amazing

The dog cameo was a happy surprise!
Always Be Positive No MATTER WHAT...
I think logic has had one of the hardest childhoods out of all rappers....
I had the same childhood. And had the same feelings. About this is not how to do things by watching their mistakes
Happy holiday teacher yesterday was teachers' day in Uzbekistan so I wish you best of best. You taught me everything
RattPack! 💚

I was left wondering what is the relationship between purpose and vision?
Logic wink wink if you want I'll be more specific. Mike R. as Simon or in the matrix everyone is every one
The purpose is to serve humanity and worship the creator the one and only
Simon needs to check his excitement😅 keeps cutting logic off
