Honestly the best moments watching borp are always those when he just initiates those gargantuan reads before his opponent even starts moving and then his opponent just finds himself moving right into borp's clutches. For example at 4:42 you can see that Dos Equis started moving way after borp was already winding up for the getup attack.
I've seen this video so many times and I just noticed that grab setup attempt at 4:24, which would have made this game even crazier if he hit it and got the down throw. Just 2 frames off!
It looks like borp has such limited understanding of the game, a lot of times he tries to grab when the opponent is out of range etc. But, he just doesn't care, if he misses he just hits you with another random move.
i've played him and trust me when i say he understands it very well. he adapts insanely well and he makes tons of extremely logically sound decisions in the neutral and in the punish (he's fuckin wicked at tech chasing). what's interesting is that he can pivot grab with marth consistently (frame perfect input?)
