Hakeem Jeffries has served as the US representative for New York's 8th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Jeffries has chaired the House Democratic Caucus since 2019. Prior to his role as a representative, Jeffries worked as a corporate lawyer and served in the New York State Assembly.

Mr Jeffries I think you’re a prime example of what every single person who sits in congress should conduct themselves like. Because you’re very smart, articulate, vocal, outspoken but very eloquent and I think that says a lot about a person. I feel it says that you care, you listen, you take your roll seriously and I wish we could say that about everyone in congress. Right now I feel the right side has lost their damn mind and it’s so scary. I remember when I was a kid I would hear the president speak - left or right - but it felt safe. 2016 - 2019 where so scary more than I could remember (Bush).😅

As an American and fellow New Yorker I personally think Mr. Hakeem is a great voice for the people and I honestly quite like him. However, I am deeply concerned and frustrated with his party and do not honestly believe is taking America into the right direction. Democratic party is a mess with some of the worst political ideologies and its leadership is a disgrace to country. Open border, illegal migration, rising crime rates you name it, pretty much everything is out of control.

When words fail, and bad faith prevails with no opposition from sources like Oxford, the result is often open conflict. Both extremes have lost the moral ground to use words, since they have become so disconnected from reality and coherent action. We've been here before, history does not repeat itself, but DNA apparently does.

Jeffries is like most Democrats since Reagan - a Democrat In Name Only. What the white police officers did to Rodney King, corporations and the wealthy have been doing to the middle class and the poor - I'm wondering how Mr. Jeffries can say he's made a difference in the overall plight (the wholesale problems) of an enormous part of American society.
I myself can assure you that Mr. Jeffries is just one man and that he's honestly doing his best but, you and I also, need to do our best and support someone who has his character and caliber!
