      Quite simple solution to that.. We have only 1 big terminal with one side for domestic and the other for international flights... Only problem we have like many other airports is that food and drinks are freakin expencive

      @@Rammstein66-u9v That sounds super convenient, honestly! One big terminal keeps things straightforward. 😄 And, yes, airport food and drink prices are a challenge everywhere it seems! Thanks for sharing, and greetings back! 🇳🇴✈😊

      @@atlechris Norway is not tht big so we dont need a monster terminal yet. 2 runways for now is more than enough.. So i think for those who comes to this airport for the first time will be surpriced how easy it is to wander around the terminal... I worked as a baggage handler and knew every inch of the tarmac :)

    I remember Olso airport had a breakfast buffet restaurant. Is it still there? For a flat fee you could as much food as you want

    • @atlechris
      @atlechris  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oslo Airport does indeed offer various dining experiences, though specifics like an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet might have evolved since your last visit. While places like O'Leary's and Fosna provide dining options, they don't currently advertise a flat fee all-you-can-eat breakfast. For the most current information on dining options, including breakfast offerings, it's best to check directly with the airport's official resources or their website. 🙏

    För några år sedan fanns inte Thai Airways som lifte upp där ifrån, såg många passageraren som kom från Norge till Arlanda Sverige för att flyga till Thailand.

    • @atlechris
      @atlechris  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's a fascinating anecdote! It's always interesting to hear about the diverse paths travelers take, and how sometimes, even with direct flights available, one might find themselves on an unexpected journey through places like Arlanda when flying with Thai Airways from Norway to Thailand.

    Denne flyturen må vel vært lenge siden? Det ser ut som det flyr over Russland

    • @atlechris
      @atlechris  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your comment! Actually, this flight report is from a recent trip, not from a long time ago. Regarding the flight path, we didn't fly over Russia. Modern flight routes, especially between Oslo and Bangkok, often take what's known as the "Polar Route" or "Great Circle Route," which can appear to go over or near Russia on a 2D map due to how these routes are optimized for shortest distance or best fuel efficiency over the Earth's curvature. Hope that clarifies any confusion! Safe travels everyone! 🙏

      Thans for your reply.Great, security is number one, and I am glad Thai Airways take this seriously. Having in mind they have shot down a commercial fligh already (years ago), these people are not regarded as reliable. I will take Thai airways in consideration next time I go to BKK.

    So this is the new era of no more B-747, A-380 and even B-777. Most now with the B-787. Great.

    • @Arnystic
      @Arnystic 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The safety video not being on is because it is a new plane and the seat features are different from Thai’s normal A350 layout, so they cannot use their old safety video for the new planes.

    Plenty legroom? How tall are you?

    • @atlechris
      @atlechris  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@bengtnilsen421 Thanks for your comment! Yes, I found the legroom quite comfortable on our Oslo to Bangkok flight. I'm 177cm tall (about 5 feet 9 inches), so I usually don't have too much trouble with legroom in standard economy seats. However, comfort can really vary depending on the airline, seat pitch, and individual preferences.

      @@thatnorwegianguy1986 Wow, that sounds like such a frustrating experience.
