    Excellent job with the stripes, I'd done the opposite, white primer then blue. Anyway the rendering is beautiful. Cheers.

    When I used zero paint over Tamiya primer, it destoryed it. Like if the paint was shrinking, making crazy wrinkles and revealing imperfections that were well covered by primer. Had to strip it and start again with a different primer...

    Hi Tom, great video as usual! Interesting to see that the white primer worked well. I’ve had a good experience painting white stripes on a darker colour with Tamiya’s LP paint.
    I’m curious as to how the Street Blisters clear compares to Zero 2K. Would you say that the SB paint is easier to use/achieves a better finish out of the gun in comparison?

    Quick question for you, Tom. Did I hear you right when you said you waited “a couple of minutes” before unmasking the stripes?? Every automotive show I’ve ever watched seems to unmask once the paint is dry - is there an advantage to unmasking whilst the paint is still wet?? Love the channel, mate - wish my models turned out even half as good as yours do!!! : )

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel

    Great Videos!!! What do you mean when you say you have to apply thin layers for plastic models? What happens when the color bites into the plastic?
    Thank you once again!

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The thinners in laquer paints are quite aggressive and can bite in to and potentialy melt plasic. Resin and matel are much harder and the thinners can’t attact those materials as much

    Possible newbie question... If you're using the same acrylic ZeroPaints paint you've used on plastic kits, can you help me understand how heavier coats "bite" into plastic more than resin?

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Zero paints are not acrylic. They are laquer.
      The thinners in laquer paints are quite aggressive and can bite in to and potentialy melt plasic. Resin and matel are much harder and the thinners can’t attact those materials as much

    Hi I've been using my H&S Silverline Evo 0.2mm for 2 days from now. I'm having a problem on it. It splatter paints whenever I pull the trigger to the max but when I pull it just in the middle it won't splatter. Do you know how to fix it? I find the paint dripping whenever I pull the needle.

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure the air is always pressed when spraying. And also when not spraying. Remove the crown. As that tends to build up paint.
