Love your positivity. As a young family man, you being positive will go a long way. I am at the other end of the age scale compared to you. I am semi retired and i have been working for a regular private client for over 25 years. I was cards in for 20 years and then age related illness kicked in. Now that i am self employed I wish that I had done it years ago. Anyway, i will you success, and i eill follow your journey with interest. Just for info...I have never used cx. I rely on my 1 very regular customer, and believe it or not, delivering food as and when I feel like it lol All the best

hi mate, much appreciated for watching i'm currently doing roughly this week 3/4 days on average and making 2k a month (which is fine for me as i'm building the account and pushing further for more outside clients) - this is revenue btw not full profit I’m building up so expenses for everything for me across the board it’s now building up 😁👍🏻 if I can give my advice for what its worth, you need to look at apps like CX not as a guarantee but as what's possible genuinely way to many variables for it to be consistent example - if you are in lets say South Yorkshire to London - London back to sheffield what's the chances of everyday - someone 1) - manufacturing a product 2) - completed that product on time exactly when you need to arrive 3) - then sending the product to a shipper to price up 4) - the shipper not having an empty van or the shipper not taking on the job 5) - the shippers contacts of sub contractors - reliability 6) - posted on CX + added margin 7) - then work is accepted and started all them things have to happen in a row everyday twice a day for you make an amount just not possible in my opinion you should base your day around local courier work - people who ring you before its posted on CX CX - for connecting and getting started - sometimes use for going out or getting backloads back your own clients - you charge full rate as to where you see fit for the client - don't under value yourself shipping - where you will post loads that are the overflow of work from the clients (this am currently working on doing, once i've got multiple ill be completed a video) networking, networking, networking - its all depends on the amount of networking! but if you soley rely on CX no, to produce your money every week I think your going to struggle Courier exchange and apps like it - are empty apps they are fantastic platforms but the app is empty without us as drivers and shippers who post work the flexibility and what's possible is what got me hope this helps, happy to answer anymore questions
Saw FFletchers and Dave Anvil’s latest posts on here and it’s the same theme re. the CX not being accountable when it comes to low bidding and customer service. They need to get a grip on things. The logistic sector as a whole is near breakpoint
Cheers for a good video mate what’s would you recommend is best business to start up with a Luton van with tail lift? Was going to do cx but 2k to sign up and I’m hearing alot of backlash from it what would you recommend mate
Customers customers customers That’s all you have to focus on CX is a base point for outsourcing work it’s not a get rich driving everywhere jobs on tap It’s to outsource or get back loads if things line up in your favour I reckon any van that suits what you want to do… they all have different aspects genuinely Your self employed on CX they don’t get work for you they connect you with freight forwarders not clients 👍🏻 hope this helped Can’t say it enough.. customers customers customers
@BandzBandz-jh9hr for me personally no, I want to specialise in business to business logistics but it’s brilliant for earning yeah mate That sort of stuff if you want to put in the graft and earn it’s great man and van
I use a Vauxhall combo 69-plate Fairly straightforward to set up Make sure you’ve got the right insurance Long distance courier work I don’t do much of on the app personally. I've done a video on what's needed to get set up insurance-wise, etc Eddy's logistics has done a great setup video 👍
Question to anybody: If you just want to earn a little money on the side ie working 1-2 days a week, can you use a vehicle such as an SUV type - what i'm asking is whether there are courier roles for a regular semi-retired person with a family vehicle?
I would struggle to answer this Never been in this situation I would personally say that Uber eats or Amazon flex maybe at a push is the best options Unless others have options CX you would struggle to get work for sure in a car
Being truly honest… depends on circumstances Bring your own clients for sure. It’s the best platform to cover everything book your own jobs through it - invoices - payments etc It’s a slow burner The uncertainty is tough unless you have a certain type of approach Especially when your account is new you have to accept you’re literally starting fresh! And build a network
Great stuff mate! My opinion build the network of all types - local couriers - local shippers - clients - follow what the client wants Don’t force loads for the sake of a few extra pounds and you’ll build up a good reputation It’s slow at the start! But it works if you work at it
Hope all goes well, I'm looking for some courier work to Justify the low mileage mwb Master I have to be able to volunteer driving, (2 days per fortnight) so if you have any work I can take on I'm sure you will profit too, based just north of Birmingham, mature sensible driver with good customer skills, perhaps we can build together. Please DM for further info.

Hey, Great video. What do think the realistic Monthly earn potential is? Im looking at doing the same but am hearing it quiet! Dont bother etc.
hi mate, much appreciated for watching
i'm currently doing roughly this week 3/4 days on average and making 2k a month (which is fine for me as i'm building the account and pushing further for more outside clients)
- this is revenue btw not full profit
I’m building up so expenses for everything for me across the board it’s now building up 😁👍🏻
if I can give my advice for what its worth, you need to look at apps like CX not as a guarantee but as what's possible genuinely
way to many variables for it to be consistent
example - if you are in lets say South Yorkshire to London - London back to sheffield
what's the chances of everyday - someone
1) - manufacturing a product
2) - completed that product on time exactly when you need to arrive
3) - then sending the product to a shipper to price up
4) - the shipper not having an empty van or the shipper not taking on the job
5) - the shippers contacts of sub contractors - reliability
6) - posted on CX + added margin
7) - then work is accepted and started
all them things have to happen in a row everyday twice a day for you make an amount just not possible in my opinion
you should base your day around
local courier work - people who ring you before its posted on CX
CX - for connecting and getting started - sometimes use for going out or getting backloads back
your own clients - you charge full rate as to where you see fit for the client - don't under value yourself
shipping - where you will post loads that are the overflow of work from the clients (this am currently working on doing, once i've got multiple ill be completed a video)
networking, networking, networking - its all depends on the amount of networking!
but if you soley rely on CX no, to produce your money every week I think your going to struggle
Courier exchange and apps like it - are empty apps they are fantastic platforms but the app is empty without us as drivers and shippers who post work
the flexibility and what's possible is what got me
hope this helps, happy to answer anymore questions
