Lord, I Surrender - 2nd Sunday of Lent

Here is the homily I gave for the 2nd Sunday of Lent. This is second in the series, "Lord, I Surrender." So often we try to do things ourselves and only turn to God when there are problems. All Catholics need to get better at listening and spending time in prayer. A true disciple rids all obstacles in his or her life that prevent him or her from hearing God's voice.

Thank you Father,I to am searching for my surrender. I am realizing it is much more than our moment of surrender but rather a constant and persistent pursuit of surrender.
