For what the game lacks, it does so many things right. Deserves more recognition.
Which one is better, Ready or Not or this?
@@lewchootrain RoN has better graphical fidelity and the weapons feel punchier. Content is sparse at the moment but you can mod the game to your heart's content. ZH has more content but less graphical fidelity and the weapons don't feel as good to use. Even though they're both SWAT games, I think they're trying to do different things. RoN aims for realism while ZH captures that old school R6 feel. I like both and have sunk hundreds of hours into both.

One of the things Zero Hour gets right over SO MANY "modern" tactical shooters is that it puts a priority on weapon-feel and gunplay, so guns sound loud, lethal, and dangerous, and the recoil is felt too. Too many games make guns feel like little pea-shooters. Even Ready or Not lacks the same level of intensity as here.

Ready or Not wiping out this game's playerbase is one of the saddest things to happen in the tactical shooter genre.
Im not paying $50 for a Revamped/ sorts better version of a $12 Steam game.
ready or not is better but hella expensive and gets boring fast so i would say its a good game but not everyone can afford

PvP is what killing ZH. Should've focused more on PvE.

I love the atmosphere of this game,, The mechanical is good and fun to play, just need some tweaks for the weapons and particles. hope more player plays this game, for now I just really hard to find match
As the game is in Early Access, do not expect it to be flooded with players. We are taking this time to develop and further improve the experience before marketing it in any big way. Currently playing it with friends or looking for other players through our discord server are Two main fastest ways to get into PvP.

The multiplayer was so fun. Nobody is ever on anymore.
I am still amazed of ZH team , as it doesn't have any back funding rather they are a team of devs who fund themselves. Kudos

How does this game compare to Ready or Not and Ground Branch? I own both of those games and want to know if this one is worth picking up too.
its worth it if you get it on sale. I personally like it but the pve is a little jank but is steadily improving though I think the main appeal is for the pvp however it is a little slow to get a good match sometimes

Ron is swat, Ground branch is ghost recon, and Zero hour is what everyone wanted siege to be.
Didn't read the title carefully enough, so those doors for the kitchen entry had me very confused.

@@jose2226 Yes. he mentions the video is sponsored by the devs 3 seconds into the video as well as in the description. I don't mind sponsored videos but I am yet to see any of the milsim/realism people do a video that's not sponsored about this game. it feels like they have to get paid to play the game which is not the best image.
@RavenTaleLive the game will never reach people without exposure, and it being pretty indie, and being released at a time with a lot of competition, I doubt anyone would ever hear of it. I been looking it up from time to time smbecause of one of these sponsors. Hell, they get the game for free anyway so nothing wrong with that. I'm sure whoever was offered the deal didn't even know it existed either. It's not even finished yet so it can't be something worth mentioning because pf it's quality, especially since it's overshadowed by ground branch and operation door stop, and total conflint resistance,

Zero Hour is AMAZING. I think it is the best of non- boomershooter independent fps games.
I just wish there was advanced weapon customization and you can customize ur character

tried the first mission with bots. Every single door in the entire first level is trapped with trip wire. Kinda lame.

I dont like RoN or it I only play R6 which is even worse than both
What I don't like about Rainbow Six is how fictional it became, sure for gameplay reasons it can be fun for some people but each new operator has complex mechanics
At first R6 was more realistic focusing on SWAT operations and with operators with fairly simple skills like sledge
The soldiers did not feel like fictional superheroes
@@R4in46 was a pretty big siege fan boy from launch till about 3/4 years ago like the UI is dog first off all like it was nice and simple and now its a clunky mess and omg the new ops wtf, I want operation health back even though it did fuk all but ubi just became too fkn gready

Nah RoN is not that good and if you think that they're the OG no, SWAT4 is far more better than RoN. (Good ol days)

Yeah, but it's great for what you get. If you can't afford Ready or Not or anything, this is great. Sure, it doesn't have as many weapons, etc as RoN, it's still a huge bargain!
