Good on Jim for telling the truth and putting everything out there. Now the players know where he stands. They either figure it out like adults or management figure out a trade.

Management should have kept this under the lid because now other GMs are Low Balling us for these players
Hughes already said that he's not going to be part of a Rebuild...

How do the young fans of this team even cheer for these two guys now?

  • @conservativeamber1216

Every team already knows because Management lets it out long ago
Thats why the whole hockey world knows

If Hughes walks in a couple of years then
I walk away from season Tickets along with many others
They gotta do everything they can to keep Hughes
    Cant do a Rebuild now
    Aquillini won't want that anyways
Thats one of the reasons why they let Linden go... He wanted to rebuild the team, and back then, they should have.

.... Pettersson ... PLEASE grow up (stop acting like a spoilt woebegone brat!). Miller ... PLEASE grow down (learn to be humble). This works, and you collectively have one of the best 1-2 centres in the league, one of the best PP's in the leaugue, and you have an EVEN BETTER (no doubt happier) Quinn Hughes! Can neither of you see that? Come on, already.

Call the two idiots out. Just say we are not trading either this year, it's now up to the players to play for the playoff money. End of story for now.

Sorry.. if one guy is constantly the instigator of the issues then he is the villain.. of the two of them one player has a reputation of fighting with teammates, has been traded for fighting with teammates and we've seen on video fighting with multiple teammates on multiple teams.
If you move Petey and keep Miller he will guarantee fight with another teammate. The guy thinks he is the captain and the coach.

why is everyone acting like the sky is falling down? We are a point out of the playoffs and almost every key player has missed games. If players don't like each other who cares winning solves all the issues. No one was hearing this buzz in the first half of last year.
This team is a single point out of a wildcard spot and 4 points back of the Kings. If this team starts slipping post 4 nations, these convos should happen, but not before then.
    everyone just calm down

Thanks guys. You know, this is starting to feel like one of these guys slept with the other's wife / girlfriend, or some such nonsense! That's where we're at? "Some things can't be walked away from"... ??? THAT might be one; are there REALLY many others? A born-again Christian and a preachy atheist? I've seen THAT come to blows! But seriously... what could be SO horrible there? I guess I could get gross with a couple of other suggestive possibilities, but less assume they're not on the table; so, reallly, what can't be put under the bridge already, with a little humble pie for both players? Gah! As a fan, a player, a human being, this is beyond comprehansion (and that's not even taking into account what these people are $$$ COMPENSATED FOR, to BE PROFESSIONALS away from their "personal feelings". BOTH players were honoured by "The Team" with commitments far exceding anything they ever dreamed of as children (so, are they STILL children; is THAT the issue?); and as such, they are BETRAYING that "Team", their teammates, AND the fans that ultimately pay their salaries. Maybe think about THAT the next time you go to cash your paycheque? Happy Lunar New Year...

We could lose on the trade, so let's consider trading for Tochets' style of play.

Rutherford, Patrick Alvin, have a in house issue with two top players , it should have been dealt with much sooner than later, total mismanagement of players , shows that ownership and Rutherford have zero understanding of Human Resources

I think it's clear Pettersson decided to tank the playoff run and used the bruise as an excuse. Really shitty way to treat an amazing fan base... lightning in a bottle doesn't happen very often and looks like he sulked his away. #nextup

Something clearly happened before the playoffs last year especially after he got his extension

    • @the5thlineplaymaker131

@@EastvanucksHe already said he has knee tendinitis. Knee tendinitis is really common in the NBA.
Normally it goes away after about a year of recovery, sometimes a bit different. But the stats are, every NBA player that got knee tendinitis fully recovered, and it didn’t affect their career in any significant way once it was gone.
Once the knee tendinitis is fully gone, we will get regular Petey back. He went from being a top 6% skater in the league, to roughly a top 50% skater in the league.
25 year olds don’t forget how to skate. He’s working through his injury still
