Harman, CC is a RD, Desharnais was a RD, Broberg is a LD so it makes no sense to move another RD to keep a player in position of abundance LD. Sure they had Broberg on RD but that was not optimal, he is a natural LD. RE: Matheson Oilers acquired Brandon Manning after McDavid openly expressed how much he dislikes him (very similar to Matheson and Pettersson situation). Pettersson may hate Matheson, but Demko and Matheson are actually good friends off the ice and they attended each other's wedding. Not saying the Canucks should acquire him, but it isn't completely out of the realm if management believes he is a fit.
