For the die hards, they'll tune in a "little" bit more. For the die hards, they'll buy a "few" PPV's. After 2weeks...the bump will flatten out again and AEW will return to flatlining. You can have all these "dream matches", but none of them have the build they needed. Or...someone goes into business for themselves and distracts from an entire feud such as what we see when Opreay took a jab at Triple H in a LIVE! promo and that's all anyone talked about for the remainder of that Ospreay V Bryan feud.
People getting hyped about Richoceht feuding with Ospreay or Swerve. So what happens once those feuds are over? Signing someone on the basis that of a couple prospective feuds is probably not a good idea. Are they going to stretch the two feuds as long as they can, so they can delay the inevitable? Which is Ricochet eventually being another person on the roster, the needle still doesn't get moved, and the "dream matches" fade into history.

This is why I tune in to you two guys, I have the exact same opinion and observation about the current wrestling culture today, and the confusion of sport and storytelling and the line getting blurred in the process. I already stated that it’s about the story, not “a match”. It’s not a match, it’s the illusion of a match but it needs to make sense to care about this pseudo wrestling/mma style match. Rick Rude was my favorite heel. I hated that guy as a chubby kid, naturally. He played the part of arrogant chippendale dancer who could legitimately kick your ass and take your lady. Stephanie McMahon Hemsley is a close second.
The problem isn’t one I’m concerned about. Tony basically has a bottomless pit of money, so if wrestlers are getting overpaid for a light schedule, good for them. I do think the idea that he’s going to be used way better than in WWE is a bit silly. He was on the roster a long time, and he won the North American, US, and IC titles, as well as being the first Speed champion. I don’t see him winning a top title, without his promos getting to at least be decent. But I’m sure he will have some main event matches. He was unique in WWE, less unique in AEW. But he will look like a big dude in AEW, compared to much of the roster.

The fact AEW has guys like Penta El Zero, Ray Fenix, Killshot/Strickland and now Prince Puma/Ricochet, not to mention Malakai Black/Tommy End and his house guys but then they give the main tag team titles to two guys just because they were the "founders" of the company _{founders my guts... they should kiss Cody Rhodes's boots every damn day, because there was no AEW without Cody Rhodes!!!}_ making the whole company a joke... man... if that's not criminally mental I dunno what else can be.

Ospreay and Ricochet CAN actually wrestle and they are top tier at it when attempted. They can do their cool moves sparsely in the big spots like AEW does in their matches but do not oversaturate it. If they want to do gymnastic dancing then have them do a dance off segment ffs and watch the rating plummet even more than they are declining right now. Ospreay and Ricochet happily flipping together to Gangnam Style....
"AEW Dynamite draws less than 100,00 viewers. Warner Bros Discovery not happy"
Aew can’t put stories together. That’s why WWE spanks them every week.
All he needs is an opportunity, which he really didn't get in WWE to be a world champion. Yeh he was the US champion and whatever the Speed championship, but he never got a real push, he may get that in AEW.
Tyson fury’s last fight made no money at all the Saudi’s can do whatever they want and tk falls into that bracket he’s way richer than u people think it’s not all about making money this isn’t WWE that’s just how those guys roll I mean come on they pay WWE 55 million to go there and put on an average show every year
Didn't know Bryce Harper And Aaron Judge play football lol come on BRO
lol ty kwan! bro I'm dieing!
'Vince Ruso rants about Ricochet'???
Chill old man...he hasn't even started.
Bro counter going crazy lol
The greatest hill turn is Hollywood Hogan
TY KWAN IS HILARIOUS👍😎🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ole Anderson, Abdullah the Butcher
The AEW roster will elevate Ricochet and vice versa
TK obviously wants to have osprey vs ricochet 2.... Maybe IDK
He won't do anything that we haven't seen before from him.
HHH is the greatest heel ever in wrestling. Why ? Because he married the bosses daughter to obtain power.
This is the first time i have ever agreed with Russo
Ricochet will actually make me turn the channel
The Million Dollar Man
Ricochet only quit because he wants one match with Will Ospreay?
Ricochet will be fine in AEW & look forward to watch many exciting matches
@@LarryB-ms1ci that the problem for some reason some think he was mistreated in wwe but he was not he had nunerous titles and high profile matches and was on tv all the time
Iron sheik best heel ever
Rowdy Piper was the best heel ever and Roman Reigns and now it’s Logan Paul
Tony Kahn pays the big bucks to put on 5 ⭐ matches!??😂 What show is this guy watching Vince
wwe paying big bucks too🤣🤣an have people on twitter lol cough cough Andrade
The Bucks are the main reason why I turn AEW off. I don't even care about the 5stars matches with'em... those 5 stars matches won't lit a fire in me even if I was covered in gasoline!
They are part of the reason why I just cannot take AEW seriously. Lucha Underground was something not even WWE will ever match. When you are Prince Puma and embody the face of the company without even ever speak and yet be the best storytelling hero you know you're looking at Lucha Underground as the best product in Pro Wrestling Entertainment.
@@davidedemurodominijanni9889 the yb are the main reason y Aew exist in the first place, and thats find if u dont like 5 star matches y not stop complaining an go watch wwe?? Aew is not wwe an they told everyone from tgw beginning in ring was going to be the main focus, u like stories cool thats y u have wwe
Greatest heel of all time is Rowdy Roddy Piper
Than why are u on the podcast and not in the wrestling creative media room if no one’s ever loses there job!!??😅
