    The locking pliers are not the "exact same brand." Malco bought the vise grip factory when they (vise grip) moved overseas, the current Snap On locking pliers are made by Malco. You can purchase the same pliers from malco branded "Eagle Grip usa." They have also improved upon the original design by putting the extra pin on the top handle by the jaw to keep the jaws in alignment under large amounts of force.

    Those locking extensions are actually wobble not wobble plus, aren’t they? I don’t think they came out with wobble plus ones yet (at least that’s what my Snap On dealer thought; he had those on promo this week).
    Maybe because the locking pin doesn’t allow for them to be pushed down to act like a regular extension?

    • @CPthetooladdict
      @CPthetooladdict  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So funny you say that yesterday as I used it for the first time I realized that my dealer called them wobble plus and in fact you are correct still a great extension just no plus part lol oh well

      Probably longer. Even the last USA vice grips were softer than the original Peterson’s in my experience. I’ve got a set of Peterson’s I inherited that held up better than my USA vice grips from the 2000’s (granted those were still better than Taiwan and worlds better than China versions).
      These look like the original Peterson’s pre-Irwin.

    I got to handle the new pliers on the truck today. I was impressed. They seemed really nice. Glad they are made back in the USA where they belong.
    As far as the weight difference it could something as simple as they are using a more modern alloy. Stronger and lighter is what the market usually wants.

    I don’t think you know what your talking about. Malco is making EagleGrip. It is a new model so patents would still be pending. If Malco IS making the new Snapon brand locking pliers these are Still not Eagle Grip by Malco. SNAPON does not make every tool better than everyone else and that is just a fact easily shown by testing seen in front of our eyes. The more of your videos I see, the more I realize quality is more than higher price; and to beware of false titles.
