Taman Ayun Temple is located in Mengwi village, Badung Regency, Bali. This temple is known as one of the most important temples in the spiritual life of the Balinese people, and is part of Bali's cultural heritage which is protected by UNESCO. This temple was built in the 17th century by Raja I Gusti Agung Putu, a king from the Mengwi Kingdom, and was a symbol of the glory and prosperity of the kingdom at that time.
