I'm owning RE Interceptor since 2020 and have completed Ladakh to Kanyakumari ride in 2021 with it. Interceptor is my daily commuter. Have ridden it for around 30K kms. I've faced no specific problems till date. Enjoying the bike very much. I've ridden many super bikes of my friends. As I'm living away from Chennai and other metros, I couldn't buy any super bike as I have no technical support in my city for them. So I preferred Interceptor as my first choice. The bike never let me down at any point of time. I strongly suggest to go for it.

I own interceptor for close to 5 years, This is a best bike in 2 cylinder category, few niggles which can be fixed using after market upgrade like shocks, alloy, tyre upgrade to 150 profile, mirrors and finally power air filter, powertronics ecu and fuelx.

I ride a 2007 Standard 350.
In the discontinued UCE segment BS3 Standard 350 was my favorite. No self start, No disc...Will give the feel of old school BULLET.
In the twin segment always "Royal Enfield Interceptor 650" is my favorite!
Just basic!!!

No need of changing oil in 6 months or 5000 km, Brand recommend 1 year or 10000km, then you can follow that easily. Because the oil used in 650 is fully synthetic.
So dont waste money on changing oil in 6 months or 5000km interval. Enjoy your ride.

Interceptor cannot be swapped with gt handle bar as the Indicator switch set and ignition switch set.Hits the tank.

Interceptor is like a blanket template. You can make it your own in more number of ways than you can imagine, while being the cheapest, most flexible and comfortable in all scenarios.
