Hello my friend it scanner have special functions like crankshaft position sensor learning
Mk808s doesn't support crankshaft position sensor learning, but the DS808S does.

Xtool D8S has more functions. Including crank sensor relearn and Key programming.
Theres nothing wrong with my car but I ised it once to run s dashboard light test and it illuminated the dash but then only half my dashboard lit up. I ended the test snd then my csr wouldn't start. My nattery showed 12v on statting then dropped to 6v while running the test. I had to jumpstart my vehicle snd then i had an ABS light TPMS light and traction control off light. After driving a short while all the lights turned off. I tested the battery with a voltmeter and it read 12.8 with the car off. What did i do wrong, do i have faulty unit? Im going to get the battery yesyed tomorrow with a minute man. I just don't see it being my battery it cranks no problem... Any input appreciated.
Not sure, but 6v on the crack is too low because the normal voltage should be at 9v or 10v if the battery is in healthy conditions.
@@150SCOOTER Tested it with a minute man the next day read 12.8v but failed for a bad cell, replaced the battery and bought a 12v power supply that keeps it under 15v , 3 amp trickle/maintainer, 20 amp charger for next time just to be to be on the safe side.
Went back in and deleted the history codes that popped when the car died mid test, I'm getting more used to it, like I couldn't find live data but it's under ECU hot functions if I remember correctly. I kinda wish I would have got the 900 series it does ECU I think. Do you know if this can actuate purge valve solenoids on Honda/Acura? I don't have the car and couldn't find it.
I bought the computer a week ago and started working with it and for some reason there are a lot of new models missing, I would be happy for some advice.
Make sure you do all the software update.
Happy use, bro! I have the iCarsoft CR max. Internal memory 16GB only, and RAM 1GB only. But you know, it works equally as fast judging from what I saw in your video. And has the same load of functionality. I suppose, the Autel or Xtool would be better in some respects, except one - costly yearly subscriptions. The CR max is free. So far, happy with my unit. Happy about your purchase also.
The most important part is that you are happy with your purchase and fit all your needs.
The Autel MK808 does bi-directional communication with the vehicle, that is a huge deal to do diagnosis and other things on a vehicle.
iCarsoft CR max does it also.

Not sure for all cars but I can reset the transmission relearn on my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with this scan tool.
What is the difference between the mk808s and the mk808z?
I think it's the same unit, just a different region like the other mentioned.

The "S" uses a OBDII cable the "Z" units I believe are BlueTooth and come with a BlueTooth OBDII dongle. The unit that ends with TS has the full Tire Pressure Monitor System built into it. So you can program TPMS sensors with it.

Hello. I want to know if this scanner is compatible with 2006 Toyota Tacoma for ABS Brake bleeding, since I bought one of the Foxwell brand, and I have wasted the money, because it is not compatible with this Toyota vehicle for ABS Bleeding. Would the one you are showing be compatible?
It's does have that option on the scanner but you might want to contact Autel directly to be 100% sure. Also, if you buy it from Amazon you will have the 30 days return window.
It can do an ABS bleed but you need to check if it’s compatible with your vehicle. I don’t think all vehicles have the capability to ABS bleed.

Yes, but only for some old car model. Autel does have a specific scanner for key programs (km100).

Do you have to pay for the subscription in order to continue using the tool? What is the purpose of the subscription?
$99 per year renewal. You can still use the tool with any current year or older vehicle. The update is just giving you an update on the newest car on the market or just a software update.

@sb6162 I talked to Autel support, and that's what they told me when I purchased it. My subscription ends in 2 months from now, and I will test it out.

This unit doesn't have that function.
I think you need the ms906 or sometning like that, that programs BCM

per unit. you don't have to upgrade every year. the first year is free when you buy the unit. I am a master DIYer and will upgrade every two years. I buy my Toyotas new and do all my maintenance. I keep all my toyotas for life. get this tool and you will be happy. I am delighted with it just like the op.
Can this do key and crank relearn?
Yes, for key, but not those with push start key fob. Mk808s doesn't support crank relearn.

Only reading the odometer from ECM but not rewriting it.

Around $120 dollars a year. That gives you all updates during that year that come out.
Can this enable hidden factory functions or disable things like start stop function on cars? The new launch 919 claims this ability and basic ecu coding?
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know because none of my cars have the stop and start function.

Launch 919E is better
Launch 919e ( android 10, 3gb ram, 32gb internal storage) vs Autel MK808S ( android 11, 4gb ram, 64gb internal storage). This is just my opinion.
