I think it's the smooth sound of the mechanism made it even satisfying. You know and can hear how well oiled and maintained the machine is.

I really encourage everyone should make their own face mask at this time of Covid pandemic beside practice social distancing, hand washing and etc as more and more evident shows that this novel coronavirus is close to air borne.
I really like your mask design especially using the elastic under the chin and adding darts. it fits wonderfully, I have made the majority of my mask by this pattern. I love watching you sew, your machine sews so quietly.

@@user-tl4op6id4x: Так снемите мерки у своего ребёнка и уменьшите выкройку. Разрежте бумажную выкройку по середине вдоль и поперёк и наложите с нахлёстом друг на друга по вашим размерам. Таким же способом можите маску увеличить до нужного размера..Проявите немного смекалки...

A Break As I Was There i Ask How Are They, i could hear Them Talking About their Poor Lack of Madk Stocks And They Looked Me And Said if We CN Get Atleadt 50 mask N95 For The EER that Would Be A Miracle. Man That Really Touch My Heart But What Can I Do? As I was on the Road On My Way Hone, I Got A Phone Calll My Boss Passed Away Didnt Make it... I Stopped Turn Around Went To Walmart (of ourse Well Protected) went to Fabric bought 4 yd Of Sheet and Vaccumm cleaner Hepa Filter found A $99.00 Machine ( Not Like Yours LOL” and. Made 50 mask And Donated To That Hospital With Some sample Of three layers. They Are Not That Perfect but They Were Very Happy . Boy I made lots Of mistakes I probably made 100 to get 50 LOL... as I Was looking Thru youTube your Video Popped on My Home Screen And lived It I want To donate more . I really Not Interested In making Money Out off this . I Always Wanted To Do Something For The Community

Richard Cruz, I am so sorry for your loss. It hasn’t been easy. I’m in Jersey, Bergen county and as you might have heard we have been hit the hardest in the state so far, the cases keep crippling. I stayed up until 2 am last night with my sister watching videos on face masks, so far this has been my favorite, so well done and simply explained. I haven’t touched a sewing machine in years so for me too this will be like my first time. Can’t wait to get my supplies from amazon to start working. God bless us all and keep us safe. 🙏

If pattern is required, it is at the beginning of video 0.02 minute, just freeze video and take a screen shot.
Thank you for showing the mask making process twice. That is what a real teacher does so that students can see again any parts they may have missed. Yours is the only tutorial I have seen With chin adjustment to secure the mask to the chin, instead of just letting the mask hang open where droplets can get in. I understand this is very important as it secures the mask to the face and protects the most vulnerable part of the face instead of leaving the face open.

Jedna z najbardziej estetycznie wyglądających masek. Do tego ładnie się prezentuje i ma ciekawe szwy. Pandemia spowodowała, że osoby ze zdolnościami, jak autorka wideo, po prostu eksperymentują (mam nadzieję, że się oszczędzają) i w ten sposób mamy produkt godny ukazania się w sklepach.
PS. Tak dla śmiechu pomyślałem, że "jeśli ktoś ma stare slipeczki, niech przerobi je na maseczki" - i wyszło dobre hasło do reklamy.

Very nice method for elastic addition. I think I will try this for this style and for the rectangle mask with pleats and add a pocket for filter on the back.

My suggestion: Take a picture of the pattern, then get some graph paper, and graph it, using the measurements that she provided, and also count the little squares for the part of the nose, etc.

I really like the elastic at the bottom and the darts. However, I don’t like the elastic over the ears. Can you still do this but with ties instead of elastic?

I love your design, the elastic addition is genius, my only complaint is that the bottom part of the pdf pattern does not match the one you used in the video, I just finished the mask and had to adjust it once I started adding the elastic. Should I try it again without cutting straight the bottom part? I am a little confused, thanks for sharing.
Really like the elastic along bottom and side darts. Addresses gaps in version I made. I’m going to try adding them to mine after the fact and make further ones this way. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise and talent!
The darts and elastic really do make this the best fitting mask of the 500 video's I've watched and made. Just brilliant to add those details. I also like the added strength of top stitching the middle seams, it's those little details that I love about this design. Been playing with multiple profiles, finally made one that is great.

insane skills ... specially sewing down the curved seam in the middle of the mask to create that clean, beautiful finished seam, WOW!! ... I will try to make this but it will take me 3 whole days and will probably sew my upper lip to my elbow. Can you advice if the upward angled section in the neck piece shown in the pattern results in a tighter fit? If so, would the elastic get sewn on the horizontal section only? Or, can we just ignore the angled section and do a straight neck line all the way? Thanks in advance.

Best design I've seen, I am making them like your pattern, but adding in an interior filter pocket, and aluminum on the nose patterned after my n95 mask. Live your machine, I only have to assume you are a fashion designer or seamstress. You are amazing!

Greetings back to Poland! All of my family is from Poland, I'm 99% Polish, but can't speak it....
@@Tsb702 just make a third piece. Wrong side of filter piece to right side of inside piece. Just double roll the hem on one side of the filter pocket so it is a little shorter. For the nose piece, I used flat mill spec aluminum, cut into 1/4" strip, and add it to the front piece before you sew the bottom together so it doesn't stitch through the whole mask. I just used the front and now middle (would have been the side that is on your face, but now separated because of the filter pocket. Hope that makes some sense....

Thank you for this tutorial, and pattern. I like the fit...it seems very snug around the nose, sides, and chin. I like the idea of being able to insert an extra filter because of the open ends. I really love that it is reusable!!

This is by far the best pattern & very simple to make. The best part is any language can still understand the process. I did add-on iron on interfacing for more protection against the COVID-19. Thank you so much for including the downloadable pattern, I'm sure everyone appreciated that.
As for your industrial 'SIRUBA' machine, it's top of the line, super expensive but each machine is specific for a job. There are other machines out there that will do the same job for a huge cheaper price. Made everyday uses a Baby Lock BRILLIANT machine & that's a great machine, in case anyone is interested! Look into a baby lock sewing machine, I am sure you'll love that machine as well, it might not be an industrial machine but it's affordable & a good machine.

Here I was thinking I invented the elastisized chin strap because I haven't seen anyone else do it. I stand corrected. You're good. You make it look so easy. Takes me 2 hours to make one of mine, you make 2 of them in 20 minutes. I also like the way your machine automatically cuts the thread for you after each stitch, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me and you're just real fast with scissors too. I put in a metal nose strip on mine. Very nice work.
